Features : 8
Same features as the combos as far as I know, this is just the head version with the same preamp and power section.

Sound Quality : 8
I tried one at the local GC and even just noodling in the room it did sound pretty good. Cleans in particular were very nice. They had it hooked up to the matching Egnater 2x12 cabinet.

I would have bought it except for the noise. When fooling around with the channel two and master levels I got some pretty disturbing noise. Not your usual tube buzz but something worse. That turned me off right away. The GC guy told me to use a noise suppressor. Ha! Thanks for the advice.

Reliability : No Opinion
I emailed Egnater about the noise I mentioned above. No response. So that helped make up my mind pretty quick. I won't buy one because I wouldn't trust it. Besides you get what you pay for.

You can tell they are not world class construction. Acceptable? Sure. Well designed? It seems like it. But for the money your getting what you usually get these days - a sprinkling of acceptable components along with some not so acceptable, and third world country manufacturing.

From my experience, no help whatsoever.

This amp is brand spank-in new! I've only had it for a couple of days now but I had to give an initial review, because I'm pretty sure I might be one of the only people that has this particular amp and I've been holding my breath wondering what tones this amp had to offer. this combo has the exact same features as it's 1x12 counterpart except that it has 2x12 celestions one being the egnater celestion elite 80 and a vintage 30. I played the 1x12 30 for a bit before I decided that the 2x12 would probably be more my fit. Don't get me wrong, the reason I bought this amp was because of the liquid bliss that the 1x12 had. The awesome thing is that the 2x12 is just as amazing but the mismatched speakers really open things up a bit for both channels. this amp is powered by 2 6v6's and 2 el84's and it has a unique feature that lets you combine the power of each tube. It also has a power adjustment for each channel that lets you choose from 1 to 30 watts of power incrementally. Each channel also has a tight and bright switch and separate digital reverb for each channel. Another unique feature of this amp is that it has a speaker emulated line out that lets you go directly to the board live or in the studio. Finally the amp comes with a dual function footswitch for channel selection and reverb on/off, casters, and an awesome amp cover!

I am running my 62' vintage reissue stratocaster with texas specials direct in with a monster rock cable. I have been playing for about 15 years and i play everything from jazz to heavy metal and much to my surprise this amp can do it all and then some. Lately I've really been into the whole boutique amp kick but i don't have the cash to actually own one so the search was on for something that could get me maybe even half way there. I really love the sweet sound of the Fuch's overdrive supreme and that is the sound that I have in my head so when I plugged into the 1x12 at the music shop i was blown away! The same sweet overdrive oozed out. Now I thought that was awesome but now that I have my 2x12 the tonal possibilities have increased ten fold. Due to the mis-matched speakers in the cab the tonal options are out of this world. Needless to say I think this will satisfy my tonal craving for quite some time which we all know is a blessing so as to focus more on playing and not hunting. The Clean channel can dish out everything from Fender bell like tones to marshall cleans and driven hard even have a bit of a plexi sound to it. It's hard to describe it because it actually has a tone of it's own which is why I know I'm gonna love this amp more and more as time goes on. Now the Dirty Channel is incredible. All I can say is Damn. In all my years of playing and all of the gear I've tried I've never heard such a brutal distortion in a 2x12 with so much focus, depth and clarity. When I cranked this thing it was like Robots with chainsaws chopping planets! Simply amazing. I also love the fact that if I don't want that kind of distortion I can dial it down and get a real creamy saturated lead tone. finally and this was a huge reason why I bought this amp is even with my strat in the neck position there is very little to no noise when idle in the dirty channel.

I've only had it for a couple days now but it seems to be made like a tank and it weighs about that much too. I will post again at a later date to discuss this further. We'll see what happens...

I've been all over the Egnater website but haven't had any issues but if and when I do I will post something stat. I really like the website and the company though it seems that everyone there would be extremely knowledgeable and helpful if needed.

I've been playing for 15 years, I've owned many guitars including PRS Artist custom 22, gibson lp's, and strats, also some older vintage acoustics, Guild, and Martin. I have also owned a couple of mesa boogie and fender amps and have had several boutique effects pedals including keeley compressor and modded tubescreamer, radial tone bone, and vintage echoplex tape delay. If this amp were lost or stolen I would replace it immediately and not think twice about it. I have tried several types of amps including fuch's overdrive supreme 30, Dr. Z, Bad Cat hot cat 50, marshall haze 40, and Bogner Alchemist and I must say it's definitely not a fuch's but for the $$$$ it surely beat all the rest. I really wanted something with amazing tone and flexibility and I honestly feel that this amp was the best for me. Keep an eye out on you tube as I will be posting a demo very soon!
