this is an addendum/correction to my review below. this cab has been serving me well for two years now, & i've come to realize that the crackling/farting at low settings was, in fact, NOT the Weber 1230, but the amp i was playing through it (Fargen Bastage). i am now using this cab with an Epiphone Valve Jr. head & i have absolutely no complaints. the cab is well built & the speaker sounds great.

i had a great experience dealing with Electrosonic & i highly recommend them. i've played through this cab nearly every day in the two years since i had it.

it was made in 2004. it's an open back 1X12 cab with a weber 1230. it is a natural brown wood finish and has the little retro furniture legs.

i'm using it with a Fargen Bastage. the cab itself is great, but i am not so thrilled with the weber speaker. i do a lot of looping, effecting, and generally making the guitar not sound like a guitar & the 1230 has a tendancy to crackle and fart out (even with the four watt Bastage). i plan on changing the speaker in the near future.

the cab is built well. i had to retighten the screws on the back after a few months of use, but i don't think that's unusual. the weber speaker, however is unreliable and will be replaced.

i like this cab. my wife likes it too, so i get to have an amp in the living room. if it were stolen, i would probably get something else, but i don't mean that as a knock on this cab...there are just too many cool amp and cab makers out there these days.
