Made 2003. This is a 1-10" sealed enclosure for use with the Solaris head(That review will come soon). You can have it built with any speaker or impedance. Mine came with a Weber 'Silver Ten'Alnico speaker. with an 8 ohm impedance

It sounds incredeble. Period. At first I was a little apprehensive that a 1-10 cab could deliver the goods. But wow, the sealed enclosure really lets this speaker get some lows, and a degree of thickness I didn't think was possible out of a single ten. I don't know of any other makers making a single ten sealed enclosure, but maybe they ought to. Its refreshing to get so much out of such a small package (its a 1 foot cube!).
I have tried this enclosure with a silverface champ, and the results were similar, just fantastic. I have used a Les Paul Standard, and a MIM Tele with both the Solaris/Vibracube and Champ/Vibracube. and it makes everything shine.
I think that most small amps(like the champ) really suffer due to the enclosure. They sound small because of the open back speakers make them sound that way. This is simply not the case when you use this cab.
The Silver Ten sounds just excellent when played clean. complete balance of sound, with just enough treble to make the chords sparkle. when you open up with lots of overdrive, the speaker/cab exhibits a low end grunt(esp. with the Solaris)and gets that awesome compressed alnico thing going. Its like someone put a vintage marshall 4x12 into a shrinking machine.

Its a speaker cab, so as long as I don't plug it into a 100watt amp, I don't see where I could screw it up. Its well built, made of solid hardwood, and has a very durable clear coat on it.

I can't even begin to tell you how interactive working with Electrosonic is. Its almost crazy how much control you have over the product. Everything is built to your specs from day one. Josh at Electrosonic even tracked down the Lime-Gold Metal flake paint to match my vintage Mustang. Where else can you get that kind of attention to detail?

I have been playing for 25 years. I own a lot of stuff from vintage Fender/Marshall to other boutiques....this is in another catergory altogether,..it is custom. A lot of companies throw that term around, but Electrosonic means it. You can get anything you want from them. this aspect and the price together makes it an unbeatable deal.
I absolutely love this cab(and the amp). Like I said, I wanted the finish to resemble the finish on my vintage mustang, and they nailed it. color and clearcoat, buffed out, just like on a car!
The retro styling is awesome as well, just a simple 'cube', grill cloth that seems custom made for the cab too. and then there's the neat little angle legs, which are removeable BTW....
Like I said, it really suprised me with the 'bigness' of its sound. This is the perfect home/recording enclosure. I see no reason you coudn't mike it and get that sound even larger. It sure would beat lugging a huge amp around everywhere.
If it were lost or stolen, I would replace without a second thought.
I will definately be getting another amp from them soon. The sheer customization aspect is addictive.
There is absolutely nothing that compares in this price range(really any price range)
