10" 8ohm version.
350w, f-3=about 70Hz in ported box.
I give this marks for the kapton v.c.former.
However:
Cone has a tendency to cone creasing when pushed hard.
Typical stamped frame.
Power handling not the limiting factor if using this as a mid bass.

The upper range of this speaker is way too bright, with huge peaks in the 1.5-3kHz region. This means that it needs to be crossed over steeply at a lowish frequency.(Maybe 1000Hz or so.)
Also it doesn't extend very low (around 70Hz) before the cone suffers from over excursion.

I bought this when I knew precious little about speaker building.
This is currently lying in m bedroom in the box.
I don't see the point of this speaker, as id can't function as a bass speaker, and it's upper mids sound horrible- and so is a bad choice for a mid range.
Avoid like the plague. It may look like the PAS speakers used by SWR, but it sure doesn't sound like them.

10 inch speaker for use in bass guitar application. I bought it because of a good review.

This is not a bass guitar speaker. It is advertised as "also can be used as". The high end allows much string noise and other noise undesireable for bass guitar use. Not recommended. Loose speaker which gets in your ear with overtones. Might be good for regular electric guitar use. Don't know.

I recently blew the (2) 10" factory speakers in my Peavey 210 TFX bass cabinet. I searched everywhere and finally considered reconing to original speaker specifications. I had found Avatar on the Internet earlier so decided to call and was amazed at being quoted a price that was less than the cost of reconing. I purchased (2) Eminence Delta 10A's at 350 watt rating each. My factory speakers were rated at 175 watts each.

I installed and played through these new Delta 10A's this past weekend and was totally blown away as was my fellow band members. I play a Fender 5 string Deluxe Jazz bass as well as Dean Edge 5-string. Both sounded fantastic and I had to really work at making those speakers clip. The sound is clear as a bell.

I've used these speakers only twice now so I can't speak about their longevity. They are clear and take that 5th string without breakup or clipping.

When I called AVATAR I spoke directly with Dave who is the owner and also the best person I've dealt with in the customer service area. He explained about and answered every question I had concerning the Eminence speakers. He kept me informed from the first phone call to finally supplying the UPS tracking number. You couldn't find a better musician's friend. Dave is the man.

I've been playing 35 years. I own a Fender Deluxe active 5 string Jass Bass, a Dean Edge 5 String bass, a Peavey Nitro bass amp, a Peavey 210 TFX bass cab and a Peavey Minx bass cab. I love my bass guitars but, if I had the opportunity and I do....I will be ordering an additional AVATAR 210 to stack on my other 210. I am very pleased with this product and can't wait to add additional AVATAR equipment. If you haven't tried these cabinets..stop..go directly to AVATAR right now. There won't be enough review space here for everyone's plaudits and you certainly won't improve upon someone like Dave to do business with.
