See below. I guess a notable feature is their relatively low weight (compared to other similar speakers).

Sound Quality : 10
These have replaced a pair of CTS AlNiCo speakers in a blackface-converted '73 Fender Vibrolux Reverb.
Whilst I am no speaker expert have to say I am extremely pleased with the change. They make the amp sound how I had always hoped it would sound with a significant improvement in bass response and top-end clarity (not to mention much improved headroom).

I did a lot of research before buying these (including e-mailing various boutique amp makers for advice which was usually very kindly given) and considered the Jensen reissues, Weber and Celestion as well as the Eminence Copperhead and Red Fang but these were the cheapest and lightest and I'm not disappointed.
This is the 3rd time I've used Eminence speakers (also used a Cannabis Rex in a Deluxe Reverb and a Copperhead in a Princeton Reverb - both silverface) and they have all proved to be excellent choices.
Obviously I'd love a pair of vintage Jensen C10Ns, but fat chance of that ever happening without hours on eBay and $$$!

10", 8 phm, 75 watts vintage styled speaker with a big dustcap. Has a 1.5" voice coil, paper surround, etc.

Sound Quality : 9
I put two of these into a Fender Vibrolux. This are very loud and punchy sounding speakers with lots of warmth. The treble is not quite as sparkly as a Jensen which suits me fine as I like a bigger, warmer sound. Still, the treble is there - just more sweet than sparkle. I have a Tele nad a Paul, but use the Paul mostly due to eaqse of use, more body and sustain to the notes, etc. These speakers sound great clean and w/OD or distortion. I would say if you have a 2 X 10" combo and you need more of a 12" sound, you'd do fine getting these. In a 4 X 10" cab, these would sound huge. As far as breakup goes, I haven't pushed them that hard yet.

I'm an experienced player. I went through a bunch of speakers trying to make the Vibro work for me. These were the only speakers with enough body to widen the sound like I wanted. Jensens were too thin for me. Because I also play jazz, I needed more meat. The 105s deliver.

i tried these legend 105 in a 1962 tremolux cab to replace the original speakers which works good but i don't want to burn these 40+ years speakers... i need something more reliable...
i originally bought these speakers for a friend's silverface vibrolux... but when i've been given the blonde tremolux i decided to keep the legend.
how does it sound??? well in the beginning, i tried them in a 5F4 super clone to replace the 12A125 weber... i found the eminence too bright... so i get back the weber...
when i get the tremolux, i put the eminence in, haven't tried the old speakers, i found the overall amp to be the best sounding amp i've ever had... clean fender sounds with a lot of bass, round sound, very warm, but detailed... the high are great too... perfect sound... i decided to sell the super repro...
but before selling it, i tried to put the weber in the tremolux cab...
arghhh horrible.. the amp sounded dull, flabby basses, poor high... lifeless... i now use the eminence in the tremolux cab...
why does i like the weber in the super clone and the eminence in the tremolux??? dunno, maybe because the super is open back when the tremolux is closed back...
anyway, my tremolux now compete with my 50W plexi loaded with 2 celestion 60W.. both have the ooommph!!!! the tremolux has a clearer brighter sound than the marshall... both are great to gig with at the same time..
i put a 8 because this speaker doesn't sound great in all application... great in closed back...

looks very reliable... but can't say...

shame on eminence which doesn't allow dealers to sell abroad... i live in tahiti, there's no dealer here... and US company can't send me eminence speakers... i had to sell 'em in Paris and bring 'em back in the plane...
there's some people living outta US or major countries...

great in my tremolux... but what a shame Eminence have such a policy about shipping abroad...

2004. I put these into a Fender Vibrolux based on a review in Tonequest magazine.

Sound Quality : 5
It is a Jeckyl and Hyde type of speakers. With single coil guitar, this speaker was brilliant with lots of warmth and spank. But with the Les Paul, it was too dark and the bass tones were not appealing - kind of thumpy. If you turned down the bass on the amp, they didn't really sound too terrific. I eventually replaced with Copperheads from Eminence's Patriot line = night and day difference with the Paul - incredible tone and vintage attack. You can see my review on the Copperheads as well.
