Very versatile, very classy sounding. I got this from WeberVST just to try something different for my Classic 30 - I liked it so much that it ended up in the amp, and my much-loved Wizard, Cannabis Rex, and Blue Tick are all in external cabs now. It's a brighter speaker, without an upper-mid emphasis that many others have, and it has a classic sound that sounds good with a variety of music... especially with a more vintage/classic leaning. It might have a bit too much highs for a very bright single coil guitar, depending on the amp. It sounded better out of the box than others I've tried, but you still have to break it in - I hate reading reviews when the player hasn't even pounded the speaker yet, they need time to come to life!

Sound Quality : 10
I'm using it with two S-73's (mahogony SG-style guitars) with GFS Fat PAFs in one (my favorite), and DiMarzio Air Norton/Fred in the other, and a handmade (by a friend) Bubinga/Zebrawood with a Seymour single-coil (unknown model) in the neck, adn a GFS Retrotron Austin in the bridge. I am into my 'buckers these days, especially the GFS ones in my burgundy S-73, so that's what gets the most play. It has very, very good definition, a moderate but tight low end, smooth mids, and a warm, bright top end. It is supposed to be a "British" sounding speaker but it's ultimately a chameleon, and a change of pickup, picking technique, or guitar can show off it's ability to go from classic rock, to reggae, to country, and on and on. Really, it is the most versatile speaker I own, even more so than the Wizard.

If your axe/amp setup is really bright and thin, then it might be too much for you. Otherwise, I can't recommend it more for definition and character.

Reliability : No Opinion
It's got a 7 year warranty, but it's new... so, no comment.

I have purchased six Eminence speakers, and have never had a reason to contact them. No marks here either, but I'm prett confident in their products at this point.

Overall Rating : 10
Eminence continues to roll on with great guitar speakers... This was purchased on a whim, just to try something different - little did I know that it would be my new favorite (though it's close). It's got punch and definition to spare, and has that "vibe" that can't be put into words. I can't recommend it to every player on earth - if you play single coils, and have a bright amp, then you might not be able to work with it (get the Cannabis Rex for that setup) - but it makes darker rigs come to life. Earcandy Cabs described it's tone as "jaw-dropping", and I can't argue with them.

12" speaker, nice frame, heavy magnet.

Sound Quality : 7
run with an sg/duncan custom and an orange ad30. focus on the highs and midrange, low is not as prominent. good when mixed with a speaker capable of more depth. comparable to a celestion gt-75.

Reliability : 8
well built, 75 watts handling should take a beating.

great speaker, well built, use if you're looking to stay in the mids/highs or possibly mixing with another speaker like the tonker. can add some definition if the other speaker has more scooped mids.
