Awesome. I've sub'ed these into at least 10 vintage amps now (I'm a fiend for ol' 10" combos) and in at least 90% they've vastly improved the tone. (Exception being when I sub'ed one in for an older Jensen just to protect the ol' Jensen from the onslaught of volume.) I've had many Webers & like 'em but the Eminence Alnicos just SLAU the Weber AlNiCos, hands down(!), every time, and at a considerable savings. These are the BEST speakers for their cost & likely just the best period. Fat, sweet, warm percussive & great speaker breakup in lower watt combos. I'm totally sold! They kill! Especially for what they cost!!

I've put these into a pantheon of stellar vintage amps--Airline, Gretsch, Guild, Kalamazoo, Valco, Supro, etc., and they are consistently awesome. They've turned some losers into keepers. Don't ever ditch an amp until you try another speaker--these are my go-to choice & they have NEVER disappointed
