Engl Z4

it??s the z-4 footswitch,

nothing special, 2 switches with led??s , heavy duty metal housing.
very sturdy, build like a tank, very big(a postcard would be about 3/4 of it??s size.
everything a footswitch needs.
i use it for my engl fireball.
very nice *plus*: it turns the fireball from a 2-channel into a 4 channel amp (at least sum kinda ^^)
switch A is for Clean / ultra Gain - switch B is for Master volume A / Master volume B.
cable is included (about 5 meters)

Only negative is the price. (Da hell 80??? for sum metal an two switch buttons?? WTF engl?!?!?)

doesn??t change the sound of the amp.

but there is a well hearable (mechanical) KLICK sound if you press the Buttons, but it DOESN??T affect the Amp sound.

As i said, build like a Tank.

i think i could use it as a throwing device against our singer XDD

You have two footswitches with led lights.
( For example the Engl screamer ),
so the left side switches between clean/lead and the right side between
low / high gain. You need a seperate cable for connect the pedal with the amp.
Its for all of you that dont need the custom Z 5, 9, 10 etc. pedals for 180 Euros.
With a second Z 4 you can switch the reverb on / off and the VLS function on / off.
So notice one Z 5 ( for everything ) is 180 euros and two Z 4 ( also for
everything ) is 150 euros. And this dont take to much place like one of the long vehicles....

It dont influences the sound !

I have the silver solid, fat alu metal plated box.
the switches are strong, the led lights well done and the inputs are also strong.

???

I play since 18 years and this is a simple but "must have" tool.
