Mid 60's all tube combo with tube reverb and tremolo. Very nice amp with two channels and four inputs. The reverb and tremolo are both useful and the tone very jazz/bluse oriented. This is a pretty low power amp and not designed with high gain in mind so it has a deluxe like overdrive above about 6 or 7. I mic the speaker and use the house PA so this is not an issue, very nice rich tone and very touch sensitive with regard to dynamics and harmonics. The amp has one dry set of inputs and one set that passes through the reverb and trem ckts. My amp came with the original footswitch for the trem and reverb. The only other feature is the speaker out jack and an A/C outlet on teh back panel. Pretty nice amp all in all. Oh yah, the amp uses 7591 power tubes so be prepared to spend some serious bucks to re-tube if you want original NOS tubes (170.00 pair) or be prepared to settle for new junk at $50.00 a pair. Great sounding tubes, just not very common so pretty spendy to aquire. They sound quite a bit like a 6V6 only more open in my opinion.

I play Fender style guitars, mostly a hollow tele or a custom Strat both with Lindy Fralin pickups. I play contemporary Christian Praise music and some Jazz/Blues pieces so this amp is perfect. There is a residual level of hum that I am hoping to at least partially reduce with a three wire power cable and the rest may be just dirty connections but it is fairly low level and would not bother in a lot of situations. I find the range of tones to be enough to cover the styles I play and it can go from twang to smokey jazz with just some adjustments to the guitar controls. I pretty much set the amp tone and volume controls to my favorite spot and they haven't changed much since. As far as distortion goes I'm not really the guy to talk to but it does distort above 7 especially with my PRS and I guess it sounds pretty cool but if heavy distortion is your bag i'd look elsewhere.

Well it's about 45 years old and doesn't have any burn marks so I guess it's reliable. I wouldn't go out without a backup but I don't expect it to fail either. I don't turn up so loud as to be really stressing it.

Been playing 20+ years and this is a really nice sounding amp. Sweet, clear and very dynamic. If you find one in good shape give it a try you may find it's just right for you.
