I am not sure about the year on this thing but i think its a '63. it has that wacky early 60s futuristic robot kind of look to it. 5 tubes, 2 6L6 and 6EU7, 1 6C4. its the same thing as a gibson atlas IV, apparently. made for bass but i use it for gee-tar. as far as features its not much to write home about, 2 inputs and 3 knobs. its got a wacky cab that was supposed to have 1 15 in it, but someone who owned it before me put anotehr one in. 50 watts, enough power for me to play shows and record. it can get LOUD and really put the hurt on your ears. it even made plaster fall off the wall once! no features, but a great workhorse.

Sound Quality : 10
i use it w/fender and teisco guitars for trashy garage punk stuff, which it sounds great for. i imagine it would be fine for anything though, has plenty of bottom end and treble to spare. it overdrives really nice like at about half volume, and after that the 'loudness' knob becomes pretty much a gain knob. the only problem is that by the time it overdrives the thing is too f-ing loud and is drowning everyone out! i want to emphasize again the loudness of this thing. it takes fuzz well.

Reliability : 8
this thing is pretty much a tank. it has cigarette burns on the cab (not my fault) and beer spilled all over it (my fault.) its never crapped out and has withstood a lot of hauling, so i wouldn't worry about it.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 9
well, this thing was cheap, and its loud and tough with a nice over drive.

i read in an old, old catalog that it came out around 1968. i have heard it was actually a bass amp, but i use it for guitar. i play a epiphone sorrento, and the tone is incredible.it has only one channel, with volume and tone control. no reverb or tremolo. a little reverb on it and its amazing. it is a very loud amp. it only has one 15" speaker, in a cab that could fit three 15" speakers. but it also has a sound baffle next to the speaker. it has 2 6L6's and a couple of other tubes that i cant remember right now. in the back it has a kick stand, if you want to lean it back and point the speakers to the ceiling.

Sound Quality : 9
i play it with a hollow body, with p-90 pickups. i play english style psychedelic, and its the perfect sound. no noise at all. the tone control is great. you can really change the sound around.you can crank it up to about 7 before it starts to break up alittle bit.

Reliability : 10
it hasnt done anything to make me think i cant reley on it yet. keep your fingers crossed.

ha ha thats funny. no support. epiphone has no clue what it is.

Overall Rating : 10
ive been playing for a few years and ive never heard an amp like this.if it were no longer mine, i would go out and get another one right away. that is if i could find one. i cant compare it to anything, you have to hear it for yourself. i would recommend that anyone into a good vintage sound pick one up if you have the chance.
