My amp was made in early 98(?). I am a beginer and play anything from 60's rock and blues, to surf, to heavy metal, punk rock. This amp does it all. The amp has two channels, clean and overdrive. There is a jack for a channel swithcing pedal, and for headphones. I wish it would have come with the foot switch. I use this amp in a "sound" room in my garage, which also contains my drums and bass. It can easily be heard over the drums. The reverb is also a plus, and worth the money.

Sound Quality : 9
I am using a cheap harmony les paul copy, with humbuckers. It suits my styles well. The only problem I have is excessive feed back in overdrive with the olume above 4. The amp is pretty varied in sounds, and the clean chanel stays clean through the whole volume range.

Reliability : 10
I wouldn't paly on stage with it because it isn't really loud enough for a club, but if it were, yes i would play without a back up.

Customer Support : No Opinion
The thing is waranteed for 5 years, but I doubt I'll need it with thsi heavy duty amp.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been plaing 6 string for about 3 weeks now,and before i was playing through a little 10 watt amp, i also have my drums :-), If it got stolen, I would buy it again. I love the way it is built, and the dials are really smoothe and heavy duty. This amp is great, especially if you can find someone who has in on a clearence like mine.

This amp is very versatile, from blues to grunge. It has 2 channels[clean], [overdrive]. A footswitch and a headphone jack is also included. I basically use this as a practice amp, but it could be used otherwise because of it's power. This amp has plenty of power for me, it gets loud at about 4o clock on the volume knob. It has an E-Drive tube distortion circut thats works really good. I think the built in reverb is very good.

Sound Quality : 9
It suits my music type really good. I'm into Alternative stuff like Nirvana, Soundgarden ,and when I play it really does sound like them. It's not very noisy at all. It can make make up really thick bass tones and is also good for metal and mostly any type of music. The clean channel doesn't distort at very high volumes which is good. The E-drive tube distortion rocks, very good.

Reliability : 10
very dependable. never had to deal with Epiphone.

Overall Rating : 10
I would definatly buy this amp again it's great. I love the the smooth overdrive and the thick bass tones. Also, the built in reverb is well worth the extra money.
