Great features for a solid-state amp, including a super clean authenic built in chorus effect, fx loop foot pedal jack, o/drive jack, stereo (left and right) preamp out, effect loop return and send and head phones jack. Eventually I think I will use every jack on this machine, good engineering. *All values based on price and accessibility

Perfect clean channel for jazz and the distortion sounds excellent when not turned up above 6-7 for jam-rock, blues, etc. As mentioned previously for being a 60 watt ampilfier it doesn't get extremely loud, but plenty loud for solid jamming for coffee shop/small club gigs. Sounds good when cranked up around 8 on the with distortion around 6-7 and the bass 2, mid 3, treble 4, presence 4 and reverb max. Getting some decent sustained highs on my blues bends. My primary axe is a 1999 Fender Deluxe Players Edition with raised American Vintage pickups to achieve better output through the amp. Also using a Boss Overdrive/Distortion pedal which allows the amp get louder than the original power supply allows.

Reliability : 8
Seems to be very dependable, however makes a spring-like shaken sound when move, which might indicate some vunerable parts. (probably chorus effect)

Customer Support : No Opinion
No experience...Discontinued so probably no support.

Overall Rating : 9
Excellent steal, will keep in collection after upgrade to a Fender Twin or Super Reverb.

My Epiphone EP-SC210 has two line outs (stereo), though I have never useed them.Mine's the tweed version. Musicains Friend was selling these new for $299.00 recently, but I don't think they are selling them right now. They are still listed on the Epiphone website.Other features are as below.I find one the normal channel, the amp is not real loud, but it takes pedals well.I use a Blues Driver BD-2,Guyatone OD-2 , or an Ibanez TS-7, and these all work well. The chorus works very well.I bought mine from an ebay seller. It was listed as new, but had been dropped, so I got it for about $97.50 + freight. The amp works fine, but had a couple of minor snags on the tweed covering, and an internal wood brace had broken off and was rattling around inside. I reglued the brace.

Sound Quality : 8
I use a Fender Telecaster, and a Dean Tonic. Both sound good through this amp.I use the pedals mentioned above.I don't use the "overdrive" channel a lot, and only set the gain to 3-4 or so.Its not too good past that setting.I play blues/rock.I don't play out at this time.I would be concerned about the lack of volume on the normal channel in a band setting (unless you push it with a pedal), but one could mike it or use the steroe line outs.

Reliability : 8
No problems at all in the year and a half or so I have owned it.

Never dealt wqith them.

I've played off and on for about 35 years.I also own a Fender Blues Junior, Crate GT-50 Stealth tube amp, Pignose Hog 20, Pignose little battery powered amp, Pignose 30/60 combo, Electar Tube 10, 10-12 pedals. I wouldn't go out of my way to find another EP-SC210, but it is a good amp.My dislikes are the somewhat lack of power on the normal channell (though it is, after all, only a 2x30 watt amp), the MDF or particle board construction instead of wood (seems like eveyone is doing this), the only "okay" distortion channell.

I bought this amp from "twisty-neck" on Ebay. The cabinet came smashed. It looked brand new. It looked like it had been dropped from a delivery truck. Several glueings and large furniture clampings later and I had an Ideal mid size amp. So all that said, I think it's about a 99 or 2000. Amazingly versatile for such an inexpensive amp. Has 2 channels, One clean and one distortion channel. Has the 3 band e.q., stereo chorus, reverb, headphone, effects loop. It was missing the footswitch. It's a generic and I've yet to buy one.

Sound Quality : 9
I am a single coil fanatic. I play Fenders and even some Fenders with a humbucker in the neck position. This amp does very well, (close to excellent but not quite,) considering the size. It handles the old 60-70's rock and the 80-90's semi country that I may play. It's IDEAL for those smaller gigs where volume is of concern. The clean channel is great and will overdrive at the highest settings, but, the distortion channel is over the top. If you keep that distortion setting at the lower gains, ( 1,2,3, or 4,) you'll get an exceptional sound. But, if you try to go to the highest gain settings, it's way to muddy and indistinguishable.

Reliability : 10
This is an amazingly durable little amp. I was playing a large tubed fender amp at a party and the crowd kept asking us to turn down. I switched to this amp and played the gig without a complaint. Thats even running the amp at near it's highest volumes. It performs well at those settings. I can honestly say, IT IS MY BACKUP! And, I would depend on this little workhorse. It may be a Shetland Pony but it's definately on steriods!

I've been playing for about 35 years. I own 3 other amps now. 2 Fenders, and a Peavey. If this was stolen, I'd probably try to find another because they are ideal for weight and size and very dependable. I don't think that they're made to sit on but you can rock all night with this. The only thing I wish it had was maybe a little better distortion. But, as I said earlier at lower gains it's ideal. As a matter of fact, the distortion on this little amp is TEN TIMES better than a Marshall Valvestate combo 2-12. The Marchall's dosn't hold a candle to this little amp. It sustains better than the Marshalls. I found it interesting and my friend with the Marshall was very upset. Has a great little tone and a good sound.

3 band EQ w/presence, separate volume and gain for 2nd channel. Stereo Chorus (adj rate & depth), spring reverb. Pair of single channel footswitch jacks for both chorus and overdrive. 65 Watts (solid state), 2 ten inch speakers. Its got a lot of neat things, although everything could have been split into its own channel.

Sound Quality : 6
I use an Ibanez AX120 with humbuckers. I play in a band we play metal-punk, and i play lead and sometimes rythm. When I plugged my turbo overdrive or my zoom into the effects loop, it made a loud humming noise that didn't leave even when volume on both channels was down. I've had it one night, I just use it for practice in my room. I have a big old awesome sounding ACETONE amp but its way to big to carry around my house, I use it for recording and gigs. I plan to use this for gigs as well, or for vocals if there's no PA. The overdrive is too bassy, like people said, but it can be adjusted. Its more like an amp, that you'd set for clean, or set for overdrive, not to much switching because the sounds would be way off. The distortion is weak, as well as the sound is VERY solid-state. The chorus is stellar though, i dig it a lot. That was well done.

Reliability : 9
I don't know if i could depend on it, but it seems to do quite well so far. Havent tested it out gig-wise, but i wouldnt go anywhere without my ACETONE.

Not much to say here!

I've been playing 5 years (i'm 15) I have an Original Crybaby, Zoom505, Boss Turbo Overdrive, Danelectro Pastrami Overdrive etc. and I do have my ACETONE amp, and a little 10 watt kustom practice amp, sounded a little nicer then this one. I wouldn't buy another if it was stolen, but then agian i'm always looking for something new. I wish it wasn't so brittle, but its good enough for bedroom practicing.

Pretty Standard--3 band EQ w/ presence, separate volume and gain for 2nd channel (separate reverb and EQ would have been nice). Stereo Chorus (adj rate & depth), spring reverb. Pair of single channel footswitch jacks for both chorus and overdrive, which is really nice seeing as you don't have to worry about breaking your overly special brand-specific 2-channel footswitch (i.e. Fender, Marshall). Loses only one point for a lack of EQ on the overdrive, besides that, it's pretty good--you get a wide range from those knobs unlike other amps (Marshall--but I can't complain with the one way they sound). 65 Watts (solid state), 2 ten inch speakers.

Sound Quality : 9
I'm using an american strat w/ a Seymour duncan neck pickup, single coil mid, and humbuker in the bridge. This particular amp isn't ideal for the aforementioned guitar, it's way too bassy and needed an EQ adjustment courtesy of a Real Tube Overdrive pedal (a lot of people complain about its lack of true bypass, but the blessing in disguise is you get a 3-band EQ pedal when it's not on).
The clean channel is about as good as it gets for an amp in this price range, it's a little jagged but it some tweaking gets it good and jazzy.
The lack of an EQ for the overdrive leaves a really bass-loaded fuzz that's okay for power chords, but uselss for blues leads (Which is why I use a Real tube overdrive). Of course, if you really want Marshall overdrive, you spend the extra $200 for the marshall.
The reverb's nice but it's not strong enough. The chorus, on the other hand, is perfect if you want something to reinforce but not dominate your clean sounds. It'll add depth but prevents that "swimming" sensation from taking over your tone. Lots of range on the knobs for the chorus.
My rating is strictly based on how much you get for your buck. By the way, this amp sounds excellent when used with my Washburn D-10 (Fishman pickup).

Reliability : 8
Only owned it 7 months, and it hasn't died yet. I'd gig without a backup only because I can't afford another amp :)

Don't plan on dealing with the company, if this guy dies I'm going shopping.

Overall Rating : 7
If you want a 65 watt combo amp and you can only spend $200-$300, then get this amp. If you've got $500, go after a Crate Blue Tube or a Marshall VS65R. For what I paid for this amp, the tone's decent and a good distortion pedal is a must if you want to play blues leads.
This amp also is great for acoustic guitars, I've used the Crate Acoustic series, and this amp rivals the crate's tone (but not the crate's price). The chorus is better than the CA-30's in my opinion.

This amp has 2 channels (clean and distortion), spring reverb, stereo chorus, and an individual 30-watt amp for each 10 inch speaker. The 2 channels share the eq (bass, mid, treble, presence), and the chorus has controls for rate and depth. A nice feature is that the 1\4" footswitch jacks for the chorus and channel switching are located on the front panel. A separate eq section for the lead channel would've been great (or even just it's own presence control), and the muddiness probably wouldn't be an issue.

Sound Quality : 9
The clean channel sounds great with my Strat, very warm and "tubie", with a nice high-end sparkle. The reverb is very nice, though not as deep as on the Fenders I've played through, but sounds very natural. The chorus has a nice variety of usable settings, and I like it better than the stompboxes I've tried. The distortion has a nice, raspy tube feel, and is great for solos, but tends to be on the muddy side for chording (I use a distortion peddle for most rhythm work). It's by no means unusable, but more crunch would've been nice (think "Freedom"-era Neil Young). However, even with the gain on 10, individual notes are discernable, which I like. I use this amp for full-band jams with friends, and we play everything from blues to Beatles to REM to Led Zep, and I'm very satisfied with how this amp handles it all. It's plenty loud, not at all noisy, and the clean channel stays clean and tight at loud volumes.

Reliability : No Opinion
I've only had this amp a few months, and so far I've had no problems, but I don't think it's fair to try to judge the reliability yet (I would hope ANY amp would still be working after only a few months use)

Overall Rating : 9
The only downside that I see to this amp is that the distortion could be more versatile. But the fact that it at least sounds really good for soloing almost makes that a moot point (as I said before, I just use a distortion peddle for rhythm and I'm completely happy with this setup). I would recommend this amp to anyone looking for a great-sounding smaller amp with some nice extras that's also pretty light (by amp standards). An awsome practice amp (which is what I bought it for) that has the quality sounds to use for jams or gigs. I'm completely satisfied.

As far as features go this amp does everything I need it to do. I play mostly country and some blues, and the sc210 is great for both. The chorus is top notch , (true stereo). The amp has two channels dirty and clean, you can add the chorus to either. The presence control make it very easy to shape my tone just the way I like it. The e-drive distortion is great for blues solos but lacks when you play anything other than a bar chord. I use this amp for live shows and practice, with the two 10 inch speakers and sixty watts it has never let me down. When people (usually other guitar players) see me pull it out and start setting up they ask me why I bought an epiphone, and I just tell them to wait and hear it and ask me again. I was really impressed with the sound of this amp and the volume. I mean this thing is LOUD. and for a solid state amp it has a surprisingly warm tubelike sound.

Sound Quality : 10
It is outstanding for just about every kind of music I have played. Like I said I play mostly country and on the clean channel with some chours it sounds great. I play a les paul and with all the adjustments I can make on the amp I can get just about every sound that I need. When i'm on the e-drive channel it is quiet when im not playing. The distortion can go pretty brutal.and the clean channel never distorts, even all the way up.

Reliability : 10
I play through it all the time and I have never had any problems with it I use it at gigs with no backup all the time. And I have never had any problems. (Exept with the club managers)

Customer Support : No Opinion
I have never had to use the customer service

Overall Rating : 10
Over all rating would be if you don't have alot of cash to buy a Fender tweed, this is the amp I would suggest. You wont be dissapointed. I would suggest however that if you do decide to buy an epiphone amp don't buy the smaller models, I've compared them when I bought mine and they had a totally different, weaker sound.I would stick with the sc210 or the sc28(two 8 inch speakers,30 watts)
