There is only one use for this amp, but for that use it's a beut: pure fuzz tone with a slight tremolo when cranked to 10 and put on "Overdrive." I actually used this in for a small gig for a few songs, and added a Blues Driver, with the distortion down low and the level up all the way to boost the volume. Worked fine, but can't use it in clubs. If you run through another amp or PA you lose some of the fuzz and tremolo, because some of the effect comes from overloading the mini-speaker, not just the from the Overdrive.

Sound Quality : 10
There is no clean sound whatsoever--it pretty much distorts on its regular setting with a volume of "3," which is to say, at the point you can here the thing. But the distortion is a thing of beauty. I play it with a Gibson ES-135, so I combine the chunk and fullness of the Humbuckers with this amp's fuzz. When I'm in a certain mood, I can play the thing all day.

Reliability : 8
Seems the best made (and least versitle) of the minis. But it IS a mini.

Customer Support : No Opinion
No idea.

There are good basic (regular size) amps on sale for under 100 bucks, so why would anyone buy something like this for their main amp, or even a basic practice amp? This is a specialty item. If you're dumb enough to buy a mini and expect it to work like a regular amp, stop complaining and do better research.

Volume, Tone, Off-On-Overdrive switch,1/4" input, Headphone out, will run on 9 volt batt and my 1-Spot multi adapter by Visual sound(also cool :) All you could want or need in combination with your pick-up select and Tone pots on your guitar. For an $18,New, Mini amp,Hey !

Sound Quality : 10
I Play an american strat, all single coils. When backing off the treble pots on both the guitar, with Neck pickup (or next click down) and on the mini amp turning up the Amp vol. to "5"(12 0"clock) or more And Get this Put the Guitar Vol Up full ... you get a fantastic Overdrive sound with this amp, Much Fun and could be heard from outside( 50 ft from the house) to the other end of my home with All the windows closed and the TV on and Never went past "6" on the Vol!

Basically it acted like a true Overdrive that responded to my guitar Vol and Picking strength by getting Very Nice rectifier sound( close, all things considered) and when I turned Down my guitar Vol it Cleaned up Nicely !)

I did get a bit of a buzz when playing clean(3 way On-Off-OD switch to just "On") But I may have been overdriving the amp with the guitar vol any way And with a tremendous OD sound, depending on how your guitar vol was set(w/ amp vol at 5 or more) Who Cares :)

I think that if you wanna use headphones and/ or keep the vol down on the amp/guitar then just grab a little dan electro OD ($15 now?) or whatever, so you Can Overdrive at low(er) Volumes on the amp without disturbing the family/neighbors !

Reliability : 8
Cant say, havent used that much But It has an enclosed back to keep the sand/dirt out and push out the Vol so ...Seems Okay

No Need , hope not to !

This thing had a volume, atreble and some wierd thing which they had the nerve to call an overdrive. It was a litle practice amp so you can't expect much but the 70 bucks I paid was way too much. It only had Like 1.3 watts and was run by a 9 volt battery

Sound Quality : No Opinion
I got this amp when I first got my guitar also. I used mostly the neck pickup. It didn't have overdrive but it did have a fake overdrive which did absolutely nothing. It cant really play much especially since there's no distorion. I never tried playiing with a pedal since it broke before I got one.

Reliability : 4
you cant play a gig with it since it only 1.3 watts. I dont have it any more since I kinda fried it by trying to run it with 120 volts( only needed a 9 volt battery) I tried to get a friend to fix it. He gave it to a frien who gave it to a friend who gave it to a friend and I haven't seen it since

Customer Support : No Opinion
never tried

It was my first amp and it was a pile of horse manure. Epiphone might make good guitars but forget about their amps please

Input, Headphone, and DC jacks. Volume and Treble knobs. A switch, "Off, On, Overdrive". A tiny package. And I don't think it was worth the $60. Features, I guess, are standard of what you find in this price range, though.

Sound Quality : 1
The sound is totally messed up on mine. Perhaps it's because my guitar has only a single humbucker, but I can't play for more than 5 minutes through it, especially not with my Danelectro Fab Tone. The sound deteriorates very quickly into a thick, staticy background noise. Maybe I'm not using it properly, I don't know.

Reliability : 4
It's a practice amp, and it uses a battery, so it's obviously not suitable for gigging with. Other than the sound, it's stood up to a lot.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never tried to get the damn thing fixed, and I doubt they would anyway, seeing as how it's been discontinued.

Overall Rating : 3
I'd pay someone to steal it, so I'd have an excuse to get a better amp and I could finally get some decent sound going. I didn't really get a chance to compare it to other products, because at the time it was the only thing in our price range. I suppose other people could get what they want out of it, but it was $60 wasted for me.
