This amp comes with a pretty good amount of bells and whistles, which is good if you're into that sort of thing. I honestly don't use them all, but they are all actually very usable and worthwhile, which isn't always the case with amp features, especially with those that model other amps. This is not a tube amp and it does not come with analog effects, but it performs and responds remarkably similar. For the price range, this amp is by far the most incredible deal you will find.
1-Amp made in 2005. Paid 200 USD used.
2-Extremely versatile for the styles of music I play: classic rock (ac/dc <-> iron maiden), metal (buckethead <-> pantera), punk (screeching weasel <-> 88 fingers louie), blues (srv <-> gary moore), reggae (steel pulse <-> bob marley), jazz (wes montgomery <-> chick correa), experimental (radiohead <-> sonic youth), and indie rock (weston <-> hey mercedes)
3-Amp has 2 channels, an effects loop, and a head phone jack.
4-Wish it had an external speaker out, but this baby has more than enough volume on its own, so I guess that's unnecessary.
5-I use this amp for practice and gigs and I've never needed to turn it up past 5. I have turned it up higher just to see if it can hold, and it does and then some. This amp can play any venue except a stadium without breaking a sweat.
6-Solid state, and remarkably fantastic at that. Models: Fender Blackfaces (3, I think), Fender Tweeds (2), Jazz, Acoustic (2, one for picking, one for strumming), Marshalls (4), Metal (2). Effects: Tremolo, Vibrato, Flange, Chorus, Delay, Reverb. I'm too lazy to take the cover off it to check how many effects there are and how many models there are exactly, but this is what can remember off the top of my head and you get the idea - there are A LOT! And they're all damn good.

I use three guitars. I have a 1998 Gibson SG, and 1994 Fender Telecaster MIM, and an old acoustic/electric Fernandes cutaway. No pickup mods, all stock and ready to rock. This amp carries their unique sounds extremely well, from the bite and growl of the SG with distortion, to the bell-tones of the Tele with clean, to the warmth of the Fernandes acoustic. It is whisper quiet for the most part, but can some minor noise with a multi-effects unit. But even then it's not too bad at all and I just use my noise suppressor and it's all gravy. I cannot go into detail of what sounds this amp can make because that would take an entire encyclopedia volume, but read the bands I put in the feature section for a general idea. If you can think of it, this amp can do it - and without a lot of fiddling around, either. The clean is fabulous, and I especially love the Blackface models. I think there are 3 different ones, I forget. But the tones will amaze you. I haven't turned the clean up past 5 for fear of going deaf, so I don't know if it breaks up or not at those levels. The distortions are pretty good, too, although I still use an mfx unit to get the right sounds, but for a solid state, the distortion is pretty tight and responsive. You'll find the amp acts like a tube amp. The Marshall models are pretty good, not a JCM 800 or 2000 DSL, but if that's the sound you are looking for, you must get those amps. I've had a JCM 900 50w, JCM 2000 DSL 100w, and a Mesa Dual Rectifier and this amp tries but doesn't even come close to those, but why the heck would it? This is a bargain amp, not a premier amp! But it will kick the pants off most any other amp within 600 dollars of this amp.

You can depend on this amp like a brother. Well, I guess that depends on your family, but this amp is a workhorse. It has never broken down or showed me anything to believe it might crap out, but I always bring a backup (I use an old MIJ Fender Reverb '65 for my backup) anyway because you just never know. Same with guitars - always bring a spare. Nobody came to the gig to watch you change strings or MacGyver your tone and volume knobs.

Never had to deal with them. Oh, by the way, the User's Manual is a joke with this amp. Anything built overseas (except in Europe) will come with a manual that is B-A-S-I-C. So, don't plan on getting anything useful out of the manual. But if you needed a manual to figure this amp out, you're probably better off playing dead than guitar.

I've been playing for 12 years. I own too much gear to list and this review has already turned into a novella. Some classic Fender amps, some classic Marshall amps, Fender USA P-Bass, classic Ludwig drumset, and a few different multi effects units for both guitar and bass, both older and newer. All BOSS and Line 6, and one old Zoom. If it were stolen, I'd probably get it again because it's so versatile and useful, LOUD, reliable, and dirt cheap for all that you get. It's not light, but it's not heavy at all, especially after lugging around Marshall stacks for many years. And the Mesa? Holy crap, you gotta be on steroids to carry that stuff around.

A solid state, 2 channel amp from Fender with volume that will curl your toe nails.
I went to 3 music stores. Tried Kustoms, Fender tubes, Traynors, Genz Benz's, Marshalls, Peaveys, SWR's, and some I can't remember. I wanted a crisp, punchy, driven tone, but was left wanting. Until...
With the first strum, I had what I wanted. Right there in front of me. I did't realize it, but it was only 1 of dozens of tones I could get.You can switch between 2 sounds, but it would be really nice if you could have a memory function like the new line 6's.

I use a tele for the punchy attack of the strings, so the tube amps just softened it up and poured mud on it. This amp is capalbe of producing just about any possible sound you can think of just like a line 6, but with the oomph of a mack truck.
There are are about all of Fenders amps modeled in the modeling section and yes, they actually sounded like the original.
The clean channel is like crystal, such as any fender would be. The only amp modeler that was not up to snuff is the acoustic one. If you ave a guitar with a preamp, it will make that familiar "click" upon attack.
The distortion it can produce is truly brutal. Some Crate amps are similar to this one, but with theirs, all you get is the chainsaw fuzz. This amp produces many varieties of tone within each amp setting.

Fender is renoun for its longevity. A 5 year warranty backs it up. I have an older Acoustasonic, and it still sounds like a champ.

I play bass electric, acoustic, dobro, ect. I am not able to purchase high dollar gear, but won't settle for crappy equipment. It's all about the sound.
This amp can be the gem for virtually any player. Smooth jazz, punk, metal, raggae, blues, or whatever. Possible even country!
This amp gets a 9 for sure. If it had programmable settings, it would be a sure 10.
The price was 1/2 of a similar tube amp with basically one sound.
