This amp is very versitile. It's great for punk, ska, rock, blues, country and just about everything else except for heavy metal. It has a clean channel and an overdrive channel, and 2 effects loops (mono, stereo). It comes with a footswitch for the overdrive and the chorus. It has 2x25 watt amps (On the back it says thats=125watts), 2x10in speakers.
It has enough power for small shows but I use it as a preamp.
The clean channel has the smothest, brightest sound I've ever heard. The stereo chorus is also by far the best. Some people say that it doesn't have very good overdrive, maybe compared to marshall stack but, It's great for what I use it for.
For some reason I cant get any pedals to work with it. They sound like shit through the clean channel and theyre not loud enough through the effects loops, but I just use the overdrive and the chorus so I don't care.

Sound Quality : 10
Like I said it's great for just about anything but heavy metal. I use it for Punk,Ska, and Moderate Rock. Sometimes the clean channel even inspires me to play Old Leadbelly songs :). My settings are T 6, M 7, B 3. The clean channel stays clean and wont get any overdrive unless your using a loud humbucker. You can get some heavy distortion out of the overdrive. But, like I said it's not quiet Marshall.

Reliability : 10
Never had any problems. I have no doubt about its relyability.

Never dealt with them, 3 year warrenty

I would buy it again. It's a great value.

This amp has everything that I need in guitar playing. Since I play a lot of Hendrix and Eagles, it has everything I need. I used to own a computer effects processor, but after a while I realized that its too confusing and this amp is very easy to control. With the effects loops and the come-along footswitch, 3-band EQ, combined with my Wah-Wah pedal, give me every sound I am looking for in an amp.

Sound Quality : 10
I've had enough 40+ second orgasms and they still don't compare to the horniness that you obtain from the stereo chorus, it makes you wanna blow your load so damn much . I find that whenever my girlfriend is gone, I can just go play guitar through the lushish chorus of the amp. I play a strat squire model which I find I can do a lot of things with. You can make the amp give any sound you want. I find that for a defined rock sound, adjust the treble to 8 1/2, mid 5, and the bass to 6 and you already got a good sound going. I don't know exactly why, but I find that if you turn the mid and bass to 0 and the treble to ten, you can get a pretty good fifties sound to it.

Reliability : 10
I've been to many jam sessions with this amp and it has never once failed on me. As far as I'm concerned, you can trust this amp more than anything, hell, you're more likely to get a divorce with your wife before this thing ever breaks down.

Overall Rating : 10
The only drawback about this amp, is that I wouldn't recommend it for a huge concert. It works fine in a small backyard concert, but don't use it if your expecting a crowd of over 300 people. Because I bought it used, I find it is the best amp for the money I spent on it. The reverb was broken, but I usually don't use it anyway since I enjoy the AC/DC "compressed" sound. If I had the money, I would buy one for every guitarist out there.

Two channels, look on the others.

Sound Quality : 3
This amp is shit. The clean channel breakes up at 2, the dirty channel has a really bad distortion. The reverb is ok, but not much more. The chorus is the worst I have tried.

Reliability : 6
Haven't broken down yet. Two techs have looked at it, but they couldn't improve it.

Good, nothing more to say

As far as features go it's a rather basic amp. 2 channels, reverb, three band graphic eq., mono and stereo 1/4" in out patches, and a chorus that will melt your face. The distortion on the amp isn't the best. But with a distortion pedal it will go anywhere. The chorus is the cleanest, most separated, sexual experiance I have ever had from an electronic device. The three band eq works in both channels. And the reverb is better than if you were playing in a 100 foot deep wel.

Sound Quality : 9
The Princton Chorus is an excellent amp for playing pop and blues around the house. It does have quite a bit of volume but not hardly enough for stage use. The sound is one of the best I've heard coming from a solid state circuit board. Great clean sound. The chorus sounds unbelieveable when accompaning a accoustic electric guitar. All around an excellent sound for the dollar.

Reliability : 9
No defects noted. 5 year warranty. I've transported it numerous times to jam with friends and never has it failed me.

Customer Support : 8
5 year warranty. I still haven't found a 800 number for Fender which would make a repair that much easier and comfortable.

Overall Rating : 10
I would buy it again without hesitation!!!! Love the chorus! Could stand a better built in distortion but nothing a pedal can't fix. Wish it had a better handle. Digs into my hand when I have to carry it from the house to the car. Buy IT!!!!!!!

This amp has the weakest distortion I've ever heard on an amp, but I like to run my guitar through a series of amps to get some groovy, wierd sounds that nobody else gets. The chorus, however, is absolutely to die for. The double footswitch is easy to operate.

Sound Quality : 9
The clean sound doesn't sound like most Fender solid state amps (usually about like placing a big, wet sponge in front of the speaker unit). Like I said, the distortion bites, but the chorus is downright amazing. It makes you feel like you need to take a shit.

Reliability : 6
All Fender amps are horribly unreliable. Come to think of it, so is pretty much everything Fender makes. I've got a lot of cheap amps, so I don't worry about it letting me down.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Well, I really don't own this amp, I just play it at my local pawn shop. The guy is saving it for me (I think) and I'll probably buy the thing within the next couple of months.

Overall Rating : 8
YES!!!YES!!!YES!!! Sounds 10 times better than my neighbor's Marshall.

Since I play in both metal bands (Sepultura, etc) as well as Jazz and the odd blues band, I needed an amp which was versatile and at the right price. I chose this because of its lush stereo chorus which I immediately fell in love with. Sure its distortion is not equivalent to a full Marshall stack, but for its price, I don't actually use it a huge amount as I have separate distortion pedals. I would love it to have a separate level control for its two (one mono, one stereo) effects loops, as I often have other instruments coming in these and would love to mix them :) Maybe I'm just greedy.

Sound Quality : 9
It sounds goddam beautiful in clean with the chorus, and the other guitarist in my band who has a Marshall valvestate 8080 wants to get one of these just as a clean channel :) It is a little noisy sometimes, but that is usually only when I am running two distortion pedals (one of them homemade) before the input of the Princeton Chorus, so I'm not that worried. It's certainly not as noisy as an 8080.

Reliability : 8
Since I got it second hand, I'm not sure what it had been through before I got to it, but it has had one service in its lifetime with me - apparently some of the solder joints around the transformer were shoddy, and these just needed re-soldiering. The amp guy said that this is a fairly common problem with these amps, but he would still buy one if given the choice, simply because of the sounds. If I ever had the $ to buy another amp, I would probably get a Marshall stack for a distorted channel, but I would still use this as a clean. Until, then I continue to use this amp for gigs without any form of backup.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Not really sure - I simply went to an amp repairman.

Overall Rating : 8
See above - I would definately buy it again, but maybe if I had the money I would move up to the bigger of Fender's chorus amps (Ultimate, or something like that).

Solid state, chorus amp, two channel with reverb. Stereo and mono effects loops, headphone jack, 2 10 inch speakers 2 x15 watt output.

Sound Quality : 6
If you want a really cool amp overdrive, then dont buy this (or most) solid state amps. The clean channel is very nice and the chorus effect is good. The reverb is very lush. For clean, it's great, though it will overdrive if you turn it up over 5 in clean, so I'd give it a 10 for low volumes clean, a 4 for overdrive channel, and a 5 for loud clean. So a 6 overall

Reliability : 10
Hasnt died yet in a couple years

A very good quiet amp for recording or playing aroudnt the house/apartment without having to crank it up to get a good tone. If you want a good overdriven amp, this isnt it (unless you want to use some fx boxes). It does, however, suit my needs, I just wish it had a lil more power.

Channel switching makes playing all those grunge-formula (here's the soft part; now here's the heavy part!) songs easy. It's plenty loud as well - I bought it after playing through a pair of Marshall 4X12s for years, and I'm satisfied. I live in an apartment, and I don't think I've turned it past 1 1/2 yet. Could use 12-inch speakers for more punch though. Overall, good for country to crunchy.

Sound Quality : 9
Great clean sound, and probably the best solid-state distortion I've heard. Reverb and chorus are also very nice. Even the headphone output is pretty good. Not the best stadium-rock distortion, but then it's not going to end up in hockey rinks.

Reliability : 10
Never had a problem, and I bought it used. The reverb hums if the amp shares the same power outlet as the TV though.

Customer Support : No Opinion
No experience.

Overall Rating : 9
I'd buy it again. I compared it to similar Peaveys and other Fenders, and found it was the best overall in its price range. Distortion beats Peavey's hands-down.
