This Model was made 2004 I think. It's versability is much more than I expected of an Carlos Santana Signature Amp. In fact I think there's no style you can't get out of it, even nu metal. Nevertheless it has got it's own style.
FEATURES: 30 Watts, Two switchable channels (clean and crunch), lows, mids and treble for each, master reverb, master volume, effects loop, switchable from 4 to 8 Ohms.

I guess it's more made for a Paula-like guitar. I like that fat tone of this amp. It has just very fat rhythm sounds, which sound great on the recordings I've made. The solo sound is like santana's or other vintage sounds, but also modern, like mesa, but not the 80`s metal style.
I think it has one lack. The tone has too much lows, and U can't get it real high.
Overall I guess it's very cool, if you like it. I make my recordings with an old Plexi Top and this Amp, and the sound is just amazing! One of the best sounds I've ever heard. Old and new in one. The Framus alone probably wouldn't do it that well.
I give it a 10 because if it's what you want, it's really cool for it's price

I don't own this amp long enough, but as I am also German, I trust our products! (-;
Inside and outside seem to be very high quality.

The bad things about this amp are:
Output only switchable from 4 to 8 Ohms.
One misses the highs and the brilliance sometimes.
The good thing is:
Very individuall but still versatile, beautiful and fat tone.
I played a lot amps and I guess if I haven't found anything better I'd buy it again. It's not what I am searching for but it's close to it. I guess the sound in my head just doesn'd quite exist, as I never heard it.
