4 X Celestion V30 speakers that can be switched mono 8 Ohm (1x200) or stereo 2 x 16 Ohm (2x100). Cab made with 17mm plywood. Build quality feels quite sturdy, although IMO the Tolex will be first to go... Metal handles (Marshall 1960 handles are plastic!!!). How long the wheels will last is a story yet to be told. The general look is vintage, which you may kove or loathe.

My set up : Ibanez SZ320MH, Laney GH50L tube head, and stomp boxes (straight into the amp or via FX-loop).
I previously owned a Framus 212 cab, which I sold to buy this one, basically because I wanted a sound with more bass. The accuracy of the V3O's is clearly there, and the expected increase in bass frequencies is there too, even with all tone controls at 12 o'clock.
My guitar now sounds rounder, with more punch in the bass, that never get muddy (I once tried a G12T-75 mounted 1960 box, and at that time I had given up the idea of ever getting myself a 4x12 cab). Didn't compare it with other brands, but definitely sounds betterand more accurate than a Marshall 1960.I'm confident that the V30's will sound less "stiff" after some time...

Looks dependable (although I doubt the tolex will stand to the rigours of life on the road. So a dust cover will be money well spent). The wheels don't look too sturdy too... I've read that re-wiring the speakers would work wonders(original cable and connectors used is said to be of poor quality). I might go for it in the future.

Never needed CS from Framus (who would for speaker cab anyway ???)

At first I was reluctant to buy a 4x12 again. A 2x12 is doubtlessly much easier to lug around. But my drummer and bassist kept telling me my sound lacked bass. So I finally bought this one from Thomann. I'm now re-discovering the pleasure of shifting large amounts of air with this cab. Great sounding cab for a friendly price.

Well it has speakers and can be setup to run mono (1x200) or stereo (2x100). 17mm plywood housing with epoxied joints making it stronger than all hell. Handles on the side are great for transport and provide balance when transporting. The wheel/casters leave something to be improved. Features metal jacks and jack plate with flip-switch for mono to stereo. Oh and I LOVE the vintage brown look vs. the metal look of the Cobra cabinet.

Is it brutal, yes. Can it do warm punch cleans, yes. Is it noisy - not at all. Over all this is an excellent well-balanced cabinet that should sound amazing with every amp head you can throw at it. I've tried Orange, B-52, Marshall, Mesa, and VHT cabinets. They all sounded good in their own ways. The VHT, and Orange sounded the tightest compared to the others I tried but at the end of the day if you want to FEEL those palm mutes, and HEAR such clarity you should consider this cabinet. I run this cabinet with a Framus Cobra V5 (w/ BIAS control) head with all the latest updates from Framus (16mm pots) and it sounds amazing. I prefer this cabinet over the Framus Cobra cabinet if anyone wants to know.

I think this should could go flying down 4 flights of stairs and be OK. Granted it might have some scuff marks along it's travel down the stairs but in the end it's built like a tank! Framus gear seems to be built like no other. Speaking it seems anything from Germany could survive some serious damage.

These guys are amazing! I email Framus in Germany and got a response within less than 24-hours. Not only that the response I got was filled with more information than I asked for which I highly appreciate. Customer support was very very friendly and responsive period. What more could you want?

Consider this cabinet is 899 new (plus shipping/tax/duties for import) it is a steal compared to the Mesa and VHT cabinets. I love this cabinet and wouldn't have it any other way (except for the casters).

Amp - Framus Cobra Top
Guitars - PRS 1994 CE24 w/ seymour duncan JB(bridge) and jazz(neck)
- Jackson JDR94/PS4 w/EMGs
- Jackson professional Kelly w/seymour duncan invader
- Ibanez RG3120 prestige w/Dimazios
- Epiphone Lespaul w/seymour duncan 59(bridge and neck)
- Epiphone Lespaul w/seymour duncan distortion(bridge)
The PRS is the main band guitar (tuned dropB .58-.014) and sound sweet on all channels. The cab is very clear (especially since im tuned soo low) and i love its punchyness and is very full/fat/warm

The tolex looks very thin so im buying a rockbag for it.
The castors are umm...lets just say the design of how they slot in are pretty crap...they just slot in with a little bump halfway on the pole to hold it in place (so it actually falls halfwaydown when you lift the cab up) i replaced these castors with marshall modefour castors immediately.
Ive read threads on the harmony central forum in regards to the input being plastic and breaking causing the amp to blow (killswitch engane/unearth) its load.mine appears to be metal so hopefully framus rectified this.
other than that the cab is solidly built.my marshall modefour is bigger (mesa oversized) but doesnt feel as solidly built as compared to this.
The grill cloth is feels really nice to touch.

well, ill try to make my responses short and sweet. the cab is loaded with celestion vintage 30's. you can run the cab both mono (8ohms @ 200w) and stereo (16ohms @ 100w)! the tolex has held up very well for me, so no problems there. the grill cover is amazing; looks very vintage.

im using a prs mccarty with emg's. im in a metalcore band, but needed a cab that could do it all for my home studio. i have used this cab with both my line 6 flexton hd as well as my framus cobra head. my cab is a straight cab. both sound unreal through it (the cobra is a beast through the dragon).
if youre familiar with v30's, then you know what they sound like. cleans are crisp and leads are tight and extremely powerful. i tried out mesa cabs with v30's and marshall cabs before i bought my dragon cab. the marshall was junk. the mesa was very nice. however 10 times out of 10, id pick the dragon cab. it just felt right for me.

like i said before... if you like v30's, either go with a mesa cab or the framus. personally, i prefer the look of the framus, the sound, the price, and the construction: over the mesa cabs. if youre a diverse player who tends to focus on harder rock... this is a cab to check out first and foremost. if you have a cobra... this combination will blow your mind.
