I believe the amp was made in 2005 for a well known West Coast music store. The amp somehow made it to Chicago. This friggin box rocks. It has 1 input with an OD channel and reverb. It also has a few other bells and whistles like a mid boost, treble boost, mid gain, effects loop. The only item I would be interested in is maybe vibrato. But you know this box sounds good just like it is. I have used it in the studio, live performances in small clubs to medium clubs. I have yet to have to max out the master volume so I think it's plenty. If I found a 100 watter I would certainly buy it.

I've owned VHT's, boogies ( 80's mk11 C+ ), all Fender types,Victoria,Evans, Rivera and the likes. But I've never owned a amp that keeps calling my name!! If you know what I mean. It's perfect for the R&B and Jazz stuff. But for the blues OMG, the distortion on this box is unreal. I've never had the luxury of owning a Dumble so I can't compare it as some others have.

I bought the amp used about a month ago. It need new tubes and biasing and one of the screen grid resistor was fried. I emailed Andy as I'm pretty handy with an iron. This friggin guy responds to his customers promptly every time. I want to say thank you to the user that submitted a review with the serial number of the amp in this review. They are built like a tank inside and very easy to dial in the amount of gain you are looking for. I have no issue with only taking this amp to a gig now that I got it up and running

Short and sweet- I'm getting rid of all my other amps other than the Boogie MK11 C+ to order a 100 watter. They costa bit more but well worth the price
