Mine is a 2005, I also had Andy do a mod for me on a fender. I play pretty much everything except heavy metal, primarily Blues/Rock/Jazz.

These are the best. I have read a couple of reviews trashing thier sound and I don't get it. It is one of the most expressive amps I have played. Not noisey at all. I have a two rock also and love it too. Mine has the 1/2 power option and the push/pull seems to be reverse from the manual but other than that it is wonderful. I use both single coil (strat/tele) and humbuckers, this amp can sing. When I use this amp I only use a volume and a wah pedal. I love my 64 deluxe and my 60's vibrolux, but for a switching amp this amp is up there with the tops.

Never had any issues that weren't basic maintaince. My mod blue a few tubes, but seems to be fine now.

Andy has always been responsive to any questions I have sent him. I have never had to send it in and hope that day doesn't come, but I have no reason to think it wouldn't be handled professionally

If it were lost or stolen I would definitely get another, although I don't know if I could afford it without selling off a kid, or a body part. oh well

this is an update to a previous review. i sent my ods back to the factory to fix a hum. this was warrantied & repaired. what fuchs did was to update the amp to their current standards. maybe i communicated wrong, but i wasn't expecting this. i was happy with what i had from the time of purchase. yes, this was an added cost, & i thought i may have got stuck with an extra cost. wow!!!! i could not believe the difference in sound. the amp was very good before the update--i don't know what to call this. maybe this is why everyone is so pissed at fuchs & the dumble thing. but the tone now is unreal. i have recordings to compare to. the tone jumps at you in an unbelievable manner.

this goes way beyond expectation. the current line of fuchs amps have to be awesome. can't wait to see his new pedal line when it comes out. all i hear is negative stuff towards fuchs--jealousy will do this. play the damn amp & decide. it is versatile. dumble rarely made the same amp--fuchs will hand tune, but factory set is too good. & i feel he is consistent with his productions. the amp is not a metal amp, & is not intended to be. it does have plenty of overdrive--factory set. it can be adjusted--but i would suggest less--no more drive is needed. this is a singing amp. try his speaker suggestions, but jbl's kill. oh, by the way, i had a nice dumble 100 watt special. 6l6's--it was rich. kept it clean, played incredible. the fuchs is cleaner, less noise. i thought the fuchs came across better--& now with the update, it's beyond belief.

the hum was a loose ground. andy explained that they hook these up better than 4 years ago. everyone is allowed to improve on their product. the amp runs great. with my shows, i always have backup--regardless of the make, even if the backup is another fuchs.

andy emails back very timely. he explains any service. like i said, maybe i communicated wrong, but it turned out in my favor. listen to his clips on the net--you get an amp like he's using. he can play guitar. the tone is real. the amp is not about loud--it is about pure. home run.

this is a damn good amp. updated, it is not fair to compare to other amps. i would say fuchs could not or should not mess with a good thing, but i know he's looking at some kind of improvement or another update or another model. it's in these builder's blood. keep it coming for us tone junkies.
