Not sure of date of manufacture, but before 1980. 75 watts RMS, all transistor. Cabinet is one 12-inch Celstion. Two inputs (one -10db), two channels, each with gain and volume. One channel had a hi gain button, the other has a bright button (both footswitchable but I never had the f/s). There is reverb and the EQ section has treb, lo mid, hi mid and bass. A contour button accentuates your EQ settings. Send and receive 1/4 inch inputs.
The beauty of this unit is that both channels can run at once, so you can get crunch on the gain channel and you can add a bit of clean in to bolster the sound, or vice versa.

Sound Quality : 9
This is a versatile amp, used live by a buddy, I now use it exclusively for my recording. It may not be tube but it is warm nonetheless and big semi-hollows sound surprisingly good through it. One of the main strengths of this amp is the severity of the EQ, which makes the sound as close to totally contourable as you're ever going to see. As I said before, the fact that there are FOUR volumes to toy with makes for a wide range of drives. The gain portion goes anywhere from ultra-light edge to a fairly meaty overdrive -- though to be sure, nothing like a Marshall. The Celestion is an asset though I sometimes run another cab just for the big sound. It runs quiet although at high volumes the feedback is tinny like any transistor amp.

Reliability : 10
This was used live for many years by a pal in our surf band with no problems. I always liked it so he sold it to me when he stopped playing electric. As far as I know, it has never been in the shop and when I mentioned the amp to GK reps at NAMM, nobody had even heard of seeing one before.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never had to service the amp, though a search for the footswitch was without result.

Overall Rating : 9
I've been playing for 35 years, all manner of guitars. If this were to be stolen, i could not replace it, as nobody seems to have even heard of this amp before. I love its versatility and that the entire combo (head and cab) weigh so little.
