It does everything you'd want from an amp. I prefer to use tube preamps such as my voodu valve or digitech 2112 to really fine tune my tones, and use this as just an amp, but it would be suitable for lots of general features on its own with distortion, compression, chorus and reverb built in.

Since I use preamp, rack mount systems to fine tune my tone, I want an amp that will reproduce what I thought I programmed to perfection and for along time had been very disappointed with amps. This amp reproduces my desired effect very well. I really like that despite beind solid state it reproduces my warm tones for blues and blues-rock beautifully.

I bought this amp used 6 years ago and it has not only functioned without ever needing the slightest repair, it sounds just as good as when I bought it.

No Opinion
I've never needed any customer support for this amp and while I say I have "No Opinion" maybe that speeks volumes by itself.

I bought this at a pawn type shop just to have a small amp to use to fool around with and was quite suprised to not have any needs for anything else since.

I play mostly Blues...Clapton;Gary Moore;BBKing. Now for the sound... This amp is unbelievable and its the best sounding solid state amp I have ever heard. The clean channel can go from sweet mellow Jazz sounds to shimmery clean rhythms.(ITs got built in chorus and compressor)The tone controls are Active and act like a equalizer. The Lead channel has its own master volume and output level. The distortion is a little Transistory... but if you cut back the Hi mids it smoothes out nice. I have had this amp for seven years now and am amazed at the tones it can duplicate. Single coils and Humbuckers sound good with this amp. I prefer Humbuckers. This amp can go from clean to scream.(get the footswitch) I find that unlike a Tube amp you really can't clean up the sound in the lead channel too much via the pots on your guitar.(typical of solid state amps.)

I would not sell this amp. Im keeping it forever. I love its versatility;its reliability;Lightweight;Powerfull Sound. I had a Peavey Musician amp (not a good choice) A Marshall 50watt tube amp.(loud but only one sound)and a Crate 60watt tube amp.(no tone) The ML/E has everything you could want.(and their cheap used 250.00) I know this amp wont satisfy some tube Guru's out there..but if you need a versatile portable amp that can cover many different styles of music check this little baby out.
