Killer pawn shop find!Mint cond.Garnet pro 200.This amp was found with the original tubes (garnet logo) a pair of El34(Ca7)two AX7's and a 6JW8.There are a few different versions of this amp...this one has vol(pull bright), treble(pull boost), mid(pull boost), bass(pull boost) and the "stinger" The EQ controls on the amp allow tons of tone options and add a bit of gain when pulled...Tweak away!!! Easy to dial in the tone you need.As for the stinger...a built in fuzz, without a mod it is not good...however it can be made to sound quite good with the "Herzog mod".The stinger has a foot switch on/off jack!!!

Very quiet amp...mine has been played very little (until now)and even the original caps are good! This amp flat out rocks!!! it's a butt kicker.It certainly leans more Marshall than Fender and overdrives the power amp section with ease.Strong volume without making your ears bleed.Tone is great with a 69 Strat and a Washurn Eagle(Les paul like)You can dial in sounds that a well suited for any style of music,however it's a waste of machinery if you are not kickin it up and drivin that bad boy...kills for blues rock and vintage Rock. I have owned most of the well known older tube amps ...lots of Fenders,Marshall,Sound city Vox Etc.) It ranks with the best!

This thing is well made...heavy chasis,big transformers...point to point wiring...solid... quality ...very impressive!!!

Don't know...I am from the USA and we are clueless about Canadian amps???Have we been missin the boat here?I read that Gar still has a shop and is in his eighties...still works on them.That is way cool if so!

Fantastic value...vintage tube amps are pricy and so are all the new ones too.This year I paid $250.00 for a mint sound city 50+...lucky! $150.00 for a Black face bandmaster...lucky again...$120.00 for the Garnet... Damn lucky! Lets see...total of $520.00 for all three amps...How much are those Matchless amps goning for? Plexy? Super rev ? AC 30 topboost? There are deals out there...Garnet amps are among the best daels to be found. I have a vox AC 30 TB and will part with it long before the Garnet (which is not leaving my side)Am amp for the player!!!!
