2000 model. Loaded with (three) useable out & in jacks. Stereo/mono and thru jack for running another cab without using up your amp's speaker outs. 2 12's are not celestions but a punchy low end speaker of there design. Nice early break up as well.

Sound Quality : 10
Four ports on the bottom makes this cab push" big time" air. This porting also makes the cab stand taller than other 2x12's. Playing metal or smooth clean passages are no problemo. Using a 87 HameChapperel w/emg's,Mesa MarkIII, and various rack effects. What lights this whole thing up is of course is a BBE 482 sonic maxamizer(best 200.00 I spent). The cab has so much bottom end that I had to reconfigure bass settings on the amp & BBE unit as well. Tone for day's...so just because I play more of a "metal" based sound does not mean that you sound shy away from this cabinet if your a bare bones clean player. You wont be disapointed !

Reliability : 10
It's a speaker cab...treat it as such....duh !

I dont ask too many questions on warrantys with a speaker cab. And I'm quiet sure if theres a prob my local( Midnight music in Pittsburgh) will rectify it."Mr. Scary" did a clinic down at the store with these cabs so that speaks for itself.More info at www.genzbenz.com

Been playing for over 25 yrs and yes,not only would I buy it again,I am going to buy another one for a more despersed footprint ! Test drove three diff cabs,Mesa recto,VHT, and of course the Lynch Signature Genz Benz.I could go on for days on which one was best but,"bang for the buck" tone for days, bottom end shake, this cab is the one ,PERIOD! Thanks to the "pros" at midnight music(owner Doug is a Manny's alumis) & of course to "El Sid" for using these cabs for years and bringing them into the public eye.

Two 12" speakers. 75 watts each, 150 watts for the whole cab.

I was able to A-B this cab with a Mesa 2x12" Recto cab. If you like bottom end and high gain, the Genz Benz is for you. Save yourself $75 and forget the Mesa. The Mesa also had harsher treble frequencies. The only drawback? This is a big 2x12".

It's a cab. Just don't overload it.

I have called Genz-Benz/Tubeworks. They've been quick and responsive.

See above. I did not buy this cab simply because I didn't need any new gear. I just put the two cabs through their paces and figured the public ought to know.

This cab has very tight bottom end.

Only owned for a few weeks. I would gig without a backup though. Very sturdy built.

I submitted another review last week. I liked the cabinet so much, I purchased another. Running 2 of these sounds great! This is the best 2x12 cab Ive ever heard. I sold my Marshall 4x12's...I am using the G-Flex exclusively now!

2x12 speaker cab...no features except it weighs 62 lbs. Lighter than my marshall 4x12 cabs. Thats the feature Im looking for. Trying to get a 4x12 sound out of a smaller 2x12 cab! Pretty close here.

Sound Quality : 8
My main axes are a ESP Kamikazi and a Hamer standard (explorer) both w/ duncan screamin demon PU's. I try to get a sound like the guitar on Stone Temple Pilots 1st album, also any Lynch Mob album. I run a Soldano SLO thru this cab, sounds almost as good a my marshall 4x12 w/25 watt greenbacks. Nice low end, no farts... just a wee bit harsher than the marshall, maybe because the speakers are 75 watters compared to the 25w greenbacks. Ive used lots of other marshalls w/75 watters same thing...harsh!

Reliability : 9
Very solid, well built. Would use at a gig with no backup.

I emailed them for a catalog, got it a week or so. When I first contacted them, they responded in 3 days.

I have been using Marshall 4x12 cabs w/25 greenbacks mostly. Trying to get that tone with a 2x12 cab. The G-Flex is the closest thing Ive heard yet. I kinda wonder what this cab would sound like with lower wattage vintage speakers? But then again My Soldano SLO is 100 watts and probably cook those spkrs in a 2x12...not sure.
Overall, this is still the best 2x12 cab Ive ever heard.
