This is a VERY LOUD 60 watt, dual 6L6 powered two channel amp made in the Czech Republic which I had the opportunity to play at the recent NAMM show in California. I was able to get in with a friend's pass and boy am I glad I did. Saw a lot of very cool stuff I never heard of including the GD amps. The Bluesman 60 had an amazingly simple front panel layout: Volume, Treble, Middle, and Bass for each channel, Master Presence control, Channel Select switch, On/Off, Standby toggle switches and a Green Jewel light.

I tried the amp with an LP Custom that was available and it rocked. To my ears, the clean channel when cranked sounded a bit like a Fender Super Reverb on 5 or 6, nice and clean but with a bit of authentic sounding crunch. The lead channel is hat really blew me away. Sounded like a nice smooth early JTM 45 when cranked just a bit. Beautiful, singing sustain (even at fairly modest volumes) was effortless. Just let go of the strings and it kicked right in. WOW!
Reliability

No Opinion
Can't comment on this as I don't own it yet (I will soon) but have heard that they use only high grade components in their amps.
Customer Support

No Opinion
Can't comment on this either, but George was very nice and helpful to everyone who wanted to try the amps while I was there (I stayed for over an hour). I was told that they have a new distributor in the USA, European Musical Imports. Judging from their website, it seems that they deal in only high end stuff.

I have been playing guitar since 1973, mostly blues and classic rock. I still gig with my band most weekends and own a Custom Shop Relic Strat, '52 reissue Tele and 1980 Les Paul Standard w/ Seymour Duncan '59 and JB pickups. Have been using a reissue Marshall Bluesbreaker combo that has never really thrilled me. Been trying many, many amps in the last few years including Blockhead, Cornford, Bad Cat, Bogner, Komet, and even used vintage Marshalls. They either don't have the mojo or are way overpriced. I've already ordered my Bluesman 60 and can't wait for it to arrive. For $1250 it's one of the best amps I've heard (for my style of playing) at any price.
