I mainly play old fenders I've played guitar 35 years mainly teles, but I own strats, Ric 330/12, assorted Danos, and Les Pauls. I thnk my 52 tele with Broadcaster pickup sounds best through it. The louder you crank it the better it sounds.

When I first bought it had not been played in years it had been in an attic it was very noisy and in two days the reverb went out. I know a good tube amp tech and cried fix it! The reverb transformer was wasted and couldn't buy a new one so the old one was rewound. He replaced several caps with new old stock and tubes nos. Now its like new. Quite warm and Beautiful. I have 5 people standing in line to buy it now they are player/collectors all pros. Sorry no sale! I always mic an amp so volume is no problem. Great tone ! The Best!
