Bought as a project on eBay for $150; mine arrived witout tweed, footswitch, reverb tank...near death. This is the model that was manufactured to be used as a 'remote' source of reverb for an original signal; alligator clips tied from one non-reverb amp to this amp. It has no stand-alone reverb function. Weird, it could add reverb to another signal but not tap its own output and do the same. Amp also has tremolo operated by front 1/2 of triode-pentode 6BM8 output tube. Uses 12AX7 for pre-amp; 3-5 watts maybe? 8" speaker.

This is a practice / studio / bedroom amp. I use it with Dano Echo and T-Bone distortion pedals and I get everything out of an early 60s Guild F212 and an early 70s Yamaha beater; rich, round, sweet, or crisp, edgy, ragged; with help it can do it all.

After new PS / cathode caps, PS/grid resistors, and a 8" Celestion, with reasonable care, it will last another 40 years.

I've been playing on and off for 40 years; if lost, I'd grieve and go find another dead or alive. Fun, musical amp.
If you have one and don't like it, call me.

this amp was bought for 120 english pounds in 1999. it appears to have a 10 inch speaker and is covered in tweed.the control panel is sloped.controls from left to right from behind read as follows:inst input 1/inst input 2/volume/tremelo[one knob for tuning it on doubles up as speed for tremolo/1 amp fuse/on off /red light power indicatorthe serial no is108280B..i estimate the output to be about 10 watts. the amp is clean up to 10 and the trem circuit sounds great.it needs a pedal effect to distort but i use a danelectro echo to get those vintage rockabilly sounds..why is it called reverb echo when those specs do not feature on this amp?tubes/valves are;gibson by rca 5y3gt/hs ecl82[6bm8]/and a 12at7[ecc81]the speaker has a no;69100020 8 ohms 137 7347. if any of you guys recognise this model and can date it it would solve a puzzle for me kind regards.

i have been playing at home for 15 years and am still a beginner . i play and write rockabilly in the 50s style in a band called'mark kelf and the valley boys'we dont gig apart from barbeques and parties.we have 2 cds out in englandand have seen releases in virginia usa on the nbt records label under various names.i wish the amp would distort and i wish it did have reverb and echo on it .i play danelectro epiphone and gretsch guitars and am trying out on double bass./i also have a 1959 ga-80 varitone amp that i will review when i get a chance to hear it again. i chose this amp because the small fenders are overpriced in the uk.it looks kool too.any body got a leather handle for sale..if it were lost i would get the small les paul re-issue amp and team it up with a danelectro tremolo pedal and kool cat echo pedal.
