Goodsell Delux 22 212 Combo

I've got #52 in black made in either 2004-2005.....I've played a number of amps but none ever grabbed me like this one. I like how the amp is real simple. So many amps have all these buttons. Perfect amp for someone who like a simple and crisp amp....I use this amp in all types of venues. Last venue used was at the roxy in Atlanta. Has the ability to tune down for small venues and the kick for the big venues.

I use a Rickenbacker and a 53 Fender strat.....I play in a southern rock band. I'm the rhythm player and it's perfect....Can get all kinds of different sounds. Has that old school vintage sound....

It is very reliable. Richard Goodsell told me that if I have any problems, let him know and he will fix it. When we are on the road, I don't bring a back up cause I'm confident in the goodsell. I bought a georgia case company case which is another great company like goodsell. They usually keep cases in stock and you can get one around $400.00....

Richard Goodsell is great. Very personal guy who really wants the customer to be happy. When he sold me my amp, he told me all about the history of the company for like 20 minutes. You don't get that with fender or marshal ect...I really think this amp is gonna be a collectors item. I'm glad I got one of the first...The warranty is for at least a year but richard is confident in his product so he probably would extend it.....

Been playing music for about 10 years. I own the goodsell, rickenbacker, fender strat, and gibson 200 acoustic...if my stuff was stolen, would definitely want another goodsell....i love everything about it. No issues at all with it.

My Delux 22 was built 11/05, it's number 0002, the second 22 watter Richard Goodsell built. This all tube amp is very simple, one channel, three knobs, volume, treble and bass (the way I likes it) on and off and a standby switch, that's it. I play small to medium clubs, do blues, country, country blues, etc. The Goodsell has more than enough power for all the venues I play. The amp gives back what you put into it, so I'd say it's very versatile.

The specs on the 22 Delux - 22 watts, 2x 6v6s, BASS/TREB/VOL controls, GZ34 rectifier, two 12AX7 gain stages, Mullard 12AT7 phase inverter. Very simple, no neg feedback loops, no chokes.

I play a 70's Fender Thinline clone with Alan Hamel pickups. I flatpick, fingerpick and use a hybred style, pick and fingers, whatever to get the job done. The Delux 22 is quiet, no issues there. I'd put this Goodsell in the tweed deluxe vein, has a very detailed sound, wonderful harmonic content, smooth as butter on the top end. I don't go for a cranked sound, i love it clean with a bit of grit and that what i get. When I turn up, it's still clean but sings in the neck position. It's not a high gain sound at all, it's very dynamic and responsive to my touch.

I play without a net, no issues yet and don't expect any. I'm going to say very dependable due to the simplicity of the set up.

I've been over to Richards and he's tweeked the amp for me, we went through a couple different speaker combos and I came back to the original setup, two Private Jacks, wonderful speakers to my ears. Richard Goodsell loves what he does and it shows, he's been very helpful. I believe the amp has a one year warranty.

I've been playing 40 years, owned lot's of high end and low end stuff, the Goodsell Delux 22 is my all time fav, no question about it. I'd have to get another one if something happened to mine. Three words, tone, tone, tone is the why, i love this amp.
