Sound quality is pretty bad.
I dont think that any iso box is really going to sound good.
When the door is shut, the box sounds really congested, flat and nasal, without any bottom end.
He states that he engineered the box around it, but it doesnt work.
The RIvera Silent sister is box may address this issue of speaker excursion but costs 1000 bucks!

The Grendel shipped to me with a couple of problems
the damn door wouldnt open!
center pin on the door hinge had halfway fallen out.
one of the mic connectors on the inside wouldnt clip onto any of my mics!
i had to remove all the door hinges and use a chisel to get the door open. Turns out there was glue in there.
I had to replace the jack for the mic myself!
I had to replace the hinge too!

Customer support is crap.
Emails were returned weeks after being sent.
Excuses everytime, especially saying that he never recieved any calls or emails.
I cry bull crap.
I relayed to him all the problems about his cab two or three times.
Never get a response except, I never got the message.

All the statements that you have heard about alex and his company and his customer service are sadly true.
i will not do business with him again nor can i recommend him to anyone except my enemies.
