Made in 1961. This amp is probably not extremely versatile. It would make a great home practice amp. A great blues amp if you mic it. I am not sure about a band practice amp that might depend on the drummer. You could try 6L6 tubes, maybe a 12AX7 conversion sockets and see how much louder it gets. I did practice with another guitar player using this amp and it was fine. I don't have plans on any conversions or mods other than the speaker I replaced. 3 inputs bright, guitar, accordian each has a slight variant. 5 Knobs on top. Reverb, Tremelo (Strength & Speed), Volume, Tone.... TUBES : (1) 5Y3, (2) 6V6, (4)6SL7 or 6SN7. One Jensen P12R that was trashed and tossed because it was insufficient, replaced with a vintage P12N type speaker (much better)This is the model with the 12 inch speaker cutout made before the 15" speaker models. Looks like an Ampeg Reverberocket of the same era... made nearby..Hoboken NJ...they must have shared ideas or???? Amp sets in rear like a tweed deluxe. Similar to narrow panel deluxe. Leather handle. Wooden footswitch for tremolo & reverb.

I paid $300 for this in as is condition. So far I have put in $100 of work by a friend Skip Simmons Amp Repair. This amp sounds nice even with the restoration not being complete. This amp was so filthy I took everything out and pressure sprayed the cabinet inside and out and then scrubbed down the tolex. It must have been sitting in a basement for 30+ years. This is a good amp for the tweed blues sound. Sooooooooo nice to have reverb in a tweed era amp. I will later review when it is completely restored, I just thought this might help someone out there.

Reliability : No Opinion
Well???? Restoration needs to be completed, then I will resubmit with some experience.

There seems to be some information out on the web on these amps Greg Gaglione or someone with a name similar to that. 1961 is the year on this one according to tubes and deductions I have made.

Overall Rating : No Opinion
I bought this as an alternative to a more modern blackface-silverface Fender reverb amp. I don't know how many watts this is.. maybe 15 like a Princeton. Like I said this is under restoration. This info is just to let people know they exist. I really wouldn't trade this for any other amp. I have owned many tube amps, this is a keeper. If you were to find one of these or an old Ampeg of the same era you would probably feel the same way. Now if you are a blues player I would have no doubt.
