Guild amp, made in the 60's. Got into a site that says it was their "low end" amp & that amp itself was manufactured in Japan? 3 inputs, tremelo w/speed & intensity, volume & tone controls. 6 tubes -
2-12ax7, 2-6aq5, 1-6ca4, 1-6au6. 10 watts and INCREDIBLE tone. If you like clean jazz tones - DON'T BUY THIS AMP. Best overdriven blues amp I have EVER heard anywhere!!! Tone is somewhere between a 6v6 and el84 tone (the power tubes are also termed as el91's). Can do ZZ Top, SRV AND AC/DC tones. Very thick overdrive (no pedal is needed!!), simply peg the volume knob & use guitar volume to adjust your o/d. Iv'e been searching for this amp for years, but just didn't know it! Not feature laden, but who wants to waste time w/a bunch of knobs anyway. PURE TONE.

See above. Blues or "classic" rock tones only. Jenson "concert 5 speaker" is very thick & crunchy. Not versatile, but for these types of music - AWESOME!!

Would have to say pretty high on this category. When I purchased, needed a handle and re-tube (rectofier tube was microphonic and fairly expensive - $14.95), put has handled 35 or so years in good fashion. Paid $225.00 + $55.00 in all new tubes.

If it was lost I would cry, kill myself & then the guy that took it. Seriously - I would replace in a second if I could find 1. This is the only one Iv'e ever seen. I've owned 15-20 vintage amps (from a 57 champ to a r.i. bassman) and for guitar, this is my all time favorite.
