The FEATURES! of an amp are the specs! people... for a vintage tube amp you want to know what tubes,speakers,year,ECT.... what features you WISH it had(along with some of the other suggestions that harmony central asks for) are opinion not fact! When Im researching something(before I buy it on Ebay for Example)I need factual info, not some dipshit teenagers opinion! 7inch Jensen, 3 TUBES:12au6,50c5,35w4

Like the other reviewer said put a good distortion in front of this and it sounds great!with a strat hot blues, with a humbucker hot british(just like most of these small tube amps!)and there shouldnt be any noise unless theres something WRONG with it!

its a 40 year old TUBE amp what do you expect! all tube amps break down Ive blown up brand! new tube amps so this category is sort of confusing!

The company isnt around anymore,so to give a rating would be impossible,so this category is not relevant to most vintage equipment,it doesnt make sense to lower an overall rating when the category isnt relevant!

Ive been playing for 30+ years I own about 20 guitars and a bunch of amps including several small low wattage amps Supro,Airline,Silvertone,ECT...I love them all, theyre relatively inexpensive and as previously stated put a dist/o.d. in front of them and they sound amazing!!!Im a shredder and these little amps sound so good that Ill sit for hours just playing rhythm.IN CONCLUSION...great little amp!..But some reviewers on Harmony Central are helpful some arent. You might want to do your research Elsewhere as MANY! reviewers have their facts wrong,or are purely stating opinion!(This MY! opinon of Harmony Central!in general not nescesarily of the reviews on this page, but after reading many reviews!)

this is a recording amp! use a strat or tele and it can sound great on a recording. if pushed too hard by itself not very musical. not for metal. no variety of sound, just a good solid tone for recording.
but here is where the fun begins!! use any good OD or distortion pedal and look out. you will awaken a monster in this amp!! when my band goes back into the studio i will bring this amp and some of my killer OD/Distortion pedals. with a stupid FABTONE pedal...instant Zakk W! with a Barber DD hello robben ford. again this is a 3 watt tube amp! i have better pedals than those stated above which i have not tried!! i can't wait to see the recording engineer's face when he hear this amp with my toys!!

this was a gift. it never broke down. i replaced all 3 tubes. i leave it in my living room stick a OD in front of it and have a party!! at 3 watts and a 6 inch speaker not gigable!

been playing for 40 years. i still rock once a month at the local club scene. i could not list all my equipment that i now own or have owned. this is not a vintage amp to get to excited about. but for 3 watts all tube and you record alot this is a good amp(as long as you do not push it past half)will it compare to a 50's fender tweed...no!! but again with the right OD pedal it is a recording amp dream.

1 channel, 8" speaker, about 2 watts of output power. Volume knob. Lightweight, small, easy to stash.
I've seen these things sell for $100-$150 on ebay. I figure I'd buy one to see what all the hubub is about.
Apparently, this is different from the 303A in that it has an 8" speaker instead of a 6". It helps (a little).

It's noisy. It was REALLY noisy at first, but after a couple of new power supply capacitors it simmered down.
It makes distortion at very low volume levels.
When you run out of sounds on this amp, you just start back over and do everything again from the beginning.
Maybe an overdrive pedal would liven things up.
And yet, it's strangely satisfying to own one of these....

It looks like it was neglected by someone for many years. Beat to hell. Yet, it still works. Amazing.
I'd depend on it, yes.

The guy who sold to me had reconed the speaker. God bless him, because I wouldn't know how to do that.

Playing for over 25 years, owned lots of different amps. This one has some good low volume distortion.
If it were stolen or lost, I'd get over it.
It's a fun little amp and all, better than any new practice amp on the market. Not by any means a technical marvel. Just a decent place to park a couple vacuum tubes and light up. If I can get a good Cream/Hendrix sound at some point, I'll be tickled pink.
