Harmony's top of the line? for the mid 60's. A very large 2 by 12 combo. has two channels one just tone and volume, the other with tone, tremolo and reverb. would have rated it higher if it had seperate bass and treble. The amp has great power. it utilizes two 5U4 rectifier tubes and four 6L6 power outputs in a unique two channel, stereo?, power amp. The power amp is located on the bottom of the cabinet and has one large power transformer and two output transformers, i have never seen anything like it. Word. Each speaker has it's own independent amp. Probly about 40-50 watts per speaker. If you have any info or questions on this amp, feel free to email me. Also if you want it, make me an offer.

My main guitar is a stock mexican Strat. I alternate this amp with my Marshall JMP 2203 100 watt half stack. When i got the amp, the speakers were blown. i replaced them with Altec 417 16 ohm speakers. very flat sounding but it did have an excellent shimmery clean tone. I recommend that the altec speakers be used in a closed cabinet. overdrive with a metal zone was very good. When i used my Budda Phatman, it was too bright. I then changed the speakers to Celestion G-something on sale at guitar center speakers. Sound got a lot deeper and compressed. Very nice smooth, compressed, and somewhat chimey sound with the Phatman. An excellent combination. I play mostly Emo/indie rock and this amp nails that plush tone nicely. For harder heavier music i use the Marshall. Compared to the marshall, this amp has a smoother sound, but lacks the low bass and muted chug.

I've had it for about a year and it has always worked. I have never needed a backup at a gig. Well built with thick wood. Very heavy. Have only done routine matinence, checked tubes, and cleaned sockets.

i've been playing for about 5 years. I own a '78 Marshall JMP 2203 100 watt half stack, Fender strat and Danelectro U2. I think this amp is one of a kind because i have never seen one on Ebay and I cant find any info online. if it were stolen, i would be screwed and sad.
An excellent well-made classic.
O yeah, i almost forgot. This amp was given to me by my aunt. She got it from the former guitar player of Kiss. I forget what she said his name was, but she said he was the guitarist that left the band because he didn't want to wear any makeup. That just makes this amp off the heezy.
