Very versatile designed for acoustic guitar but sounds great with mic, piezo equipped instruments and also electric guitar

doesn't distort, but has a natural warmth.
very little noise unless you boost treble and play loud, then it hisses a little

I phoned Headway to ask about the amp as I bought it from a 3rd party and spoke at length to John Littler the designer. He is very pleasant, knowledgable and helpful. He designs and makes Headway pickups used by a huge number of professionals (some legends!) to amplify acoustic instruments and has very high standards. He designed the Shire King SK60 and SK120 to use with these pickups.

Its light and robust and sounds so natural and uncoloured.
The reverb and effects sound great.
Compares very favourable to AER compact 60, Marshall acoustic, Trace Acoustic.
As good or better than all the competition and better priced.
