This amp is truely in a class of it's own. By far superior to any amp in the 15watt arena. Overdrive sounds without the nasty thin tone present in other amps of same class. Smooth overdrive with great harmonic presence. Excellent for recording and small clubs. No variac needed! No pedals needed! Just great tone!

Hoffmann 15 watt head made in 2003.Is a single channel amp designed to cover the range of overdrive/distortion from tweed,classlexi and beyond.The tubes are (3)12AX7, (2) EL84 and 5Y3 rectifier. This amp is all tube, no LED's. Front panel is power-standby-bass-middle-treble-gain-volume.On the back there are two preamp outs and one power amp in. This allows for patching to a rack system in a parallel efx chain. This amp has the features you need to get warm and fat tones.

The EQ sweep is very wide and suits a variety of guitars. Strats,Les Pauls,PRS's and 335's keep their signature sounds while benifitng from the interactive EQ. The EQ also interacts with the gain to give you a palette of overdrive or distortion tones. I am able to get better crunch than any marshall I've owned and a chimey warm vox overdrive all in one amp. The sound of this amp is world class.

I use this amp for recording and small clubs.It works good for rock and blues gigs. The amp has 2 channels W footswitch. The tubes are EL84s (2),5AR4,12AX7(4). Combo setup with 1-12" Celestion. Blonde wood case.

Sounds great the variety of different sounds is pretty amazing for a 2 channel amp. The clean channel gets real ballsy at about 7. The distorted channel is lively.
