Hoffmann Valkyrie

Three channel amp with 5 12AX7's , 2 EL34's and GZ 34 rectifier. The clean channel has its own EQ, the crunch and lead channels share EQ. Each channel has separate gain and master. Has two outputs on back and two switching jacks to use with a switching system ( Bradshaw, Digital Misic etc.)When changing channels there is NO glitching , like another amp I used to own with a rectifier.

The clean channel stays clean with single coils and with the hottest humbuckers yields a slight and very smooth breakup. This channel is great for a variety of styles and reminds of a blond showman sound. The crunch channel could be the lead channel on many other amps, it has that much gain if you need it. The lead channel is the smoothest and fattest lead sound of any amp or preamp i have owned. I have owned or own Bogners, Boogies , Soldano ,Marshalls etc. and this one sounds better live and in a mix .

Have owned for 1 year never had any problems. Comes with a 5 year warranty. Hoffmann really uses the best parts. If you open up the amp (He does not endorse this in any way!) you will see audiophile grade parts in this amp.

This is the best channel switching amp I own.

Bought new in 1999. This amp is a 65 watt three channel head, Clean, Lead & Scream with effects loop and footswitch.Love this amp sounds bigger and better than any amp I've played in the past ten years. All tube design. Another nice feature is that this amp can be used for several different styles has a wide tonal range.

Use this amp with both single coil and dual coil pickups. The range of sounds is amazing, from crystal clear to overdrive heaven.

This amp is 3 channel clean,crunch,scream 65 watt head 2-el34s tube rectified 5ar4 5 12ax7a preamp. This amp is extremely versatile,great clean lots of punch ,crunch nice vintage distorted sound,scream excellent over the top sound with harmonics. This head has the best all-around tone Ive ever heard. Did some side by side listening tests with soldano ,marshall,bogner,and boogie the Hoffmann blew them all away

This amp sounds great excellent tone great clean and high gain sound. Very clean on clean channel and extreme distrortion on scream channel. Works great with both single and dual coil pickups.
