This amp is madde in 2001. Two inputs, high and low don't make much difference, and that's ok to change a bit sound of your guitar. I prefer input high. It has an effects loops send and return), headphone out, and preamp out (left and right) jacks, but I don't use it. It has a chorus and reverb (I don't have a footswitch), and separate controls for gain and volume both on lead and clean channel.
It has a two 10" speakers (2x20w), enough for a garage plays if U use some preamp, and strong box which is much more solid than in VST50 or similar combos.

I used it with my old yamaha guitar and Schechter guitar and zoom 2020.
Lead channel really sucks, it's not overdrive, it's not distorsion but something in between.
Clean channel is really clean and I love it. Reverb sound ok (but not excellent). Chorus is better than many chorus pedals. It helps to add some more tone into the sound.
I play hard rock/heavy metal, and this is not so aggressive amp. However, because of good clean, even with zoom 2020 as a distorsion effect it can sound very good.
Have to mention, I bought this amp to practice at home, but it can be used to play with a live drumer. With a band I had to set gain (on clean channel) to 6/10 and volume to 6/10 and it was loud enough.
The sound is a little muddy if volume is set less than 3 and gain less than 5 on clean channel.
Very good sound for a that price.

Never broken, never a problem. That's what I expected from German product, and that's what I've got.

I play this amp for a two years, mostly for practice at home but it's reliable and loud enough to play it in small bar in front of about 50 people. I compare it to other amps in that class (but more expensive), some H?K and valvestate Marshalls, and it has more warmth in clean channel. If you want some good amp drive, don't buy this amp.

This amp was made in 1998. You won't find anything on the Hohner website, because they don't even list it there! On the other hand I would also be ashamed of making such an amplifier... I guess, it was a very limited series, because I haven't seen any of them (yes, except mine;)
It has 2 channels. Equalization, reverb, headphone jack, 20Watts *although sounds a bit more quiet than f.e. a 20W Marshall)

I use a custom made luthier guitar: Witkowski Custom (it's an AMAZING axe) with 2 humbuckers. It's clean channel is quite OK, except for the permanent buzz, that gets out of the amp...:) if you're having the volume over 5, it's really annoying, though it's allright for practicing at home @ low volumes. It sounds not very flat, but there's still smth missing. As it goes for the lead channel, it just literally sucks, and that's all. You can only get a very raw fuzz and nothing more. It's OK, if you're playing punk. If you turn on the reverbm than the buzzing becomes unable to stand... at any volume.

I've been playing for 2 years now. I also have the Hughes & Kettner Metroverb, which is perfect. If I lost it, I wouldn't cry. It's allright if you dont have a sensitive ear, but if you do, don't play it. Honestly.
