Holland Custom Channel Switching 4x15 Combo

This is a custom prototype hush-hush amp made for me a mere 2 years ago. After unexpected shipping problems, the amp has just arrived. It has two channels, one is a bright channel, and the other is patterned after a 1965 no name fuzz box that I used to have. I give this amp a 5 on features. I had it designed for blues and my sunday church gig! (GGGGGOOOOOOOOOOO JESUS!) This amp smokes my Dan Torres modified channel switching twin (see the review under Torres amps!) But!!! It can not keep up with my mighty Gorilla GG20. GGGGOOOO RILLLLAAAAAA!!!!

I am using and abusing this amp with a couple of modded strats, an old gibson, a stihl chainsaw (modded by Jimmy Superfly Snooka! He's doing great things in tiajuana now), and a harmonica that I bought from some old kaaba shriner guy without teeth. It sounds really good with my strats, but better with my gibson. I had it dynotested at 4 ohms at the voltage grid. The blender channel is probably the best thing that you are ever going to hear. (I'm working on MP3's...) I can get this really cool effect where I turn all of my pedals volumes all the way off and it sounds like there is nothing on!!! GGGGGGOOOOOO NAAADDDDDSSSSS!!!! But seriously, this son of a gun has some gunzongas!!! The 4x15's belt out the loudest sound you've ever heard. My friend had his handicap van modified so we can take it to gigs! The low end is fantastic, we fired our bass player because you just can't even hear him! The highs are a different story though- I think while my amp was lost that something happened to one of the speakers. I turn it up to ten and it falls out! Then my ears start bleeding - is this good tone?? come on mike!! So all in all, I probably use it as a backup for my Gorilla GG20 (BEST AMP EVER MADE!) Oh by the way, did I mention that mike didn't install my headphone jack?

Well, besides the one speaker falling out, i haven't had too many problems, except for this one gig when I turned all my pedals down and it still made this humming noise. Also, one time at our church gig for about four choruses (or is it chorusi?) of Moody Blues' Knights in White Satin the fuzz box just all a sudden kicked in, and it picked up the local Howard Stern show - my pastor hasn't allowed me back since! Because of Mike Holland I am going to hell. Thats why I've also started a home page for people that think Mike is really the devil. Have you seen that cigar stickin out of his mouth on his website? Well, would you call an amp that is sending you to eternal damnation in hell reliable?????? I didn't think so?

Well after Mike had charged me for my amp and I didn't see it for a few weeks suspicion creeped into my demeanor. I called his house but no one answered. And his answering machine just had a dog named Skippy on it. Well, at least a mammal ansered the phone....

I've been playing for 145 minutes, no but seriously- I've been playing for over 15 years. I've owned Gorillas, Peavys, Fenders, KMDs, Matchless, SWR, Gallen Kruger, Hartke, Craco, crate, and toress (check out my review for 80's channel switching toress amp) GOOOOOOOOOOAATTTTT MEEEEEEAAAAAATT. This amp is cool for speaker falling effects, eternal damnation, and Howard Stern weekdays from 6:00 to 10:00. But, It'll never come on my GorrillLAAAA!!!!!!!!!
