Features on this beauty are limited. For me thats good. All I want is a sweet tone and I can do the rest with my fingers or pedals. This amp is set up in the traditional Bright/Normal 4-input Bassman/old Marshall fashion. It has no master volume. The bright channel, which I selected the "brightness" by trial and error with different caps with Mr. Holland, has got the sting and sparkle I need for my blues, rock, and funk gigs. The dark channel is warm as a flannel blanket perfect for those weddings/psedo-jazz gigs. As it is 100 watts, I use it on bigger stages or oudoor shows. It has 4 7581 NOS tubes in it (my favorite) and has a brutal amount of power and supreme headroom if called upon. Its loaded with 4 (100watts a piece) Fane 10" speakers, these give you the combination of warm tone and the punch and headroom you need with this much power. There is no lack of features, nor are there too many features. Every amp in Mr Hollands arsenal is custom fitted to the customer. For some this might not sound like many features, but for me: just right.

The RealTone is a quiet amp even at hairsplitting volumes. A strat stays quiet with true single coils. This amp is a one channel wonder - that channel, good tone. I use Fender Relic strats with Lindy Fralin custom wound strat pickups with all of my amps. With this amp it yields awarm bell-like tone with almost unlimited bottom.

I've never had problem. I throw it around, and so do my monkey roadcrew. If there ever was a problem, Mr. Holland is on the ball and Im sure he would be very helpful.

Holland is pretty much a one man show. Hes there to help and create was the customer is looking for. Most repairs (even more than what are resonable) are done no charge. Give him a call and hell take care of it right away. Hes done mods for me on my amp, no charge. (parts and labor)

I would definately buy one again. Great tone, custom specs, at a decent price for exactly what you want. He only uses top of the line parts and is meticulous to the point of ........ I know some people will balk at the price but look its exactly what you want, you tell him!
