This thing is great. Has all of the features I wanted, which is no more than the original. It has tone, so what else do you need. I also wanted something handwired and with great components and that's what it has. Mine came with Mercury Magnetics transformers, carbon comp resistors, original 60s-made mustard caps, Carling switches, Belton Sockets, EH 6CA7s, JJ pre's etc. Top notch with an emphasis on great components. He also made his own cab which blows others away from what I've seen. Incredible deal, and puts modern Marshalls to shame.

Sound Quality : 10
This sound great. I play it with both a Beck Strat with 68 vintage pickups and a Gibson VOS 58 Les Paul. The Strat is great for nailing the Hendrix like tones and the Paul provides some serious crunch. The thing is dead quiet and no funny noises. It seems to be a living thing, almost breathing. The Strat stays clean when picked light and stings when you dig into it. I'm playing it with an Avatar closed back 2x12 cab loaded with 70th Anniversary speakers and it is a great match. It's a loud beast and I'm mainly using it with an attentuator to not overload the 60w cab. This alows me to crank up the EH 6CA7s he put in there and get it in the sweet spot. I can't get over the balance the thing has. It also likes pedals and when you turn up a fuzz you can turn it into a howling edge of feedback beast. Great range of tones in this one amp. I replaced the JJs with some favorite vintage RCA & Sylvania preamp tubes for a little mojo although I doubt it needed it, it sounded great with the JJs.

Reliability : 10
I've only had it a week or two but it's definately built to last. This is my second one since UPS broke the first (see below) when they dropped it off a truck from about 10 feet. I would guess this was about the only way you'de ever have a problem. Stu-Daddy also provides service for life if it were to break but I would gig without a backup and not think twice.

This is where the amp really shines, if I could I'd give a 20. Like I stated despite the overpackaging he sent it in, UPS dropped the first one 10 feet off the back of a truck. The thing still functioned but broke the chassis. Stu-Daddy totally took care of a situation that really wasn't his fault and made sure I was happy. He got back to me in no time and went way out of his way to make sure I knew he was taking care of things. I couldn't be happier.

This is an incredible deal. A handwired classic amp at a fraction of what a used original would cost. I have owned amps by Marshall, Fender, Mesa and many others. This is the best of the bunch and the one I'll be using most often. I love the attention to detail when it comes to parts selection. I also can't say enough about the custome service, A+.
