All features you need on an amp are available, effect loop, headphone jack, line-out and a channel switching with footswitch...
I wish it has an EQ for the clean channel...

Sound Quality : 9
I use a ibanez RG270 guitar with the famous powersound pickups :) and actually, with the right EQ settings it sounds perfect, when you play just chords, those pick-ups sound quite ok... when playing lead it really sucks, but when i use a ibanez roadstar or a fender tele, the sound is of course much better..
The amp itself delivers a massive rocksound, so when you are using it in a band make sure they play steady as well.
The distortion is ok, but i recommend using a distortion pedal though, but for the money this amp really rocks

Reliability : 10
I used it during a small gig, and it proves itself its really trustworthy, far better than the marshall valvestate amps...

I got it only 2 month's, get's pretty abused but still i have none problems with it. *knock* *knock*

Customer Support : No Opinion
never dealt with them

Overall Rating : 8
I've been playing for four years, and I own only a ibanez RG270 + some acoustic guitars.
If it were stolen or lost, i actually would buy a h&k again, and buying a bigger amp

Clean Volume, Lead Volume, Lead Gain, 3-band graphic equilizer Bass, Treble, Mids, Master Volume, 2 Channels, ( Lead and Clean )Celestion Rockdriver. Manual says its 40 watts but i think it sounds more like 50 watts Suggested Settings in manual are sweet check em out. pretty good bang for your buck ( $150.00 )

Sound Quality : 10
I use an Epiphone G-400 that sounds sweet ( check my other review) Gibson stock pickups sund good through it, this amp is incredibly versatile, i play punk and metal, this amp is just perfect,I turn my amp up the whole way when at band practice and shows and it almost sounds just as good as at lower volumes, it breaks up only a little bit because i use too much bass.

Reliability : 10
I literially beat the crap out of this when i play alot and jump around, sounds like its tube amp but i think its solid state, very very reliable

Customer Support : 8
Haven't delt with service or repair because its reliable, authorized dealer easy to find, bought it used so i did not receive a warranty

Overall Rating : 8
i've been playing only a year but out of all the i've heard this is the best one for your buck, chose this amp because it sounded great, of course its no Mesa Boogie but its not like i can afford one anyways

This amp has 2 channels, Clean and Lead(distortion). reverb, line out and line in, footswitch. I use an a/b box between this and another amp so it's features are fine. I believe it's tubed 50 watts. I play progressive metal and this thing works beautifully with my setup.

Sound Quality : 10
This thing is killer. Man, it's 50 watts tubed, and it cranks. I use it on it's distortion channel and have a Randall head that I use for clean. The thing cranks just as loud as anything I've ever played. I was going to get either this or a marshall and I got this, it blew it away. I play a customized Ibanez GAX70 with a DiMarzio FRED pickup in the bridge, and this thing crunches. I have a weird sound that I go for....and this thing fits it perfectly. It's the thickest amp I've ever played. I love it....I'll never buy another brand. When this dies, I'll probably get a head though.

Reliability : 10
This thing is built like a tank. I haven't had a single problem with it. I wouldn't use a backup...I have a marshall I use for backup....and I don't think I'll ever have to use it.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Don't know anything about this stuff, but I don't think I'll have to deal with them and hope I don't.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for 10 years and this is the best distortion amp I've ever owned. I'd get another one in a heartbeat. It's got the thickest, most brutal distortion I've ever heard, and best of all...it's 50 watts tubed and it keeps up with the drummer better than anything. It rocks. If you like thick distortion, get a hughes and kettner...they're unbelievable.

1x12" Celestion speaker, Distortion, Reverb, Line out, Line in, Footswitch, Phones. Very good practise amp if played at home.

Sound Quality : 9
I have an Ibanez rx series guitar with two humbucker and one single pickup. I play mostly Metal and blues and I think I can really get the sound I want from it. I also have Zoom 505II Effect pedal and it works great with it. I think it has very warm sound in it.

Reliability : 9
I would say it can really take almost anything. It really has taken some beating but nothing has happened to it, it just works and sounds great.I would use it in gig without any backup. It has never broken or anything.

I have been playing for 6 years. If it were stolen I would propably buy another H&K Attax no need to change brand. I am very pleased with it. It worth every penny you pay for it cause it is very cheap amp if you compare to any other with same features.

This a solid State 50W amp. It has two channels (clean/overdrive)
and comes with a Celestion G12E RockDriver Speaker. The two channels
has shared EQ and the amp has a serial effects loop too.
I buy it used and it's modified with a BOSS RPD-10 and a chorus
(don't remenber brand)

Sound Quality : 8
I use to play classic rock (led Zeppelin, Purple) and 80's rock such as Guns n roses
and so on. The sound it's very good for this type if music. CLean
channel has a little overdrive if you goes over 7 (gain) and overdrive it's
very warm and deep (the bass sound it's great). For practice at home or play in small rooms rocks.
Nothing's perfect and I found that if you rises de OD gain over 8 and OD volume over 6 then starts to sound a static very ugly.

Reliability : 10
I think it will have no problem. It's build with wood and seems very solid.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I was looking on the Web page for the amp's characteristics and it's easy to
move around without getting lost. I don't know anything else about.

Overall Rating : 7
I play with a SG replic from fenix through a ZOOM505, and the sound is
very good (zoom is very noisie, but it's cheap :) ). If I had to buy it
again (and I have not enough money for a Marshall Head) i'll buy
it again. If you play on a band very noisie you probably wont like it, as
if you search for a Metallica Sound or similar, but I'm very happy with it.

Shared EQ two channel solid state with basic features. 40 watts 1x12 Celestion.

Sound Quality : 5
Adequate. Very warm clean sound. Crunch is OK but could use more presance and harmonic overtones. Turned up past 5 on the master volume it turns muddy. Definitly a 40 watter. If you run A Digitech RP7 into the clean channel of any amp or power amp you will no longer nead to worry about what a amp sound like. Digitech KILLS.

Reliability : 10
No maintenace required. Built like a wood tank. If you don't shoot at it it will last forever!

Customer Support : 7
Not well covered on the web site, but never had a problem.

Overall Rating : 5
Perfect practice amp. New $201.00 off of EBAY.com Very happy with it as a practice unit. For Gigs or studio I use a Digitech RP7 into a Carvin 100 watt rackmount tube power amp. Then to a Marshall 4x12.

The Attax 50 is a very nice sounding amp as a practice amp, but if your in a band than it just won't keep up with the rest of the band. If it goes past 7 on either of the channels it's just plain mud. It has just 2 channels, clean and distortion. The clean channel sounds really nice with a Les Paul (Hummbucers). with single coiled pickups,it sounds softer. The distortion channel is really fat and warm until it gets past 7, then it sounds like mud. I use this amp in a band. At practices it sounds muddy, but if it's mic'd than it's fine.

Sound Quality : 6
My bands style is alternative, like the smashing Pumpkins. I find that it sounds more like a Marshall, but fatter if you turn down the Mid. But I use a Les Paul.

Reliability : 6
I wouldn't depend on it at a gig. It would have to be mic'd

Customer Support : 10
No problems what so ever

Overall Rating : 7
I am going to stick with H and K but I would recomend a louder amp if your in a band. But for a practice amp, it's perfect
