SETUP TESTED ON: Epiphone Les Paul Standard -> direct
CLEAN: Quite nice and clear. Quite warm when bass is set on guitar.
GAIN: Definetly nothing for the metal enthusiast. This gain seems more for a rock'n'roll kind of sound then power crunch metal. I turned to the BOSS MT-2 over clean which when tuned right does the job and sounds great with this amp, however, as the volume goes up past half way, the quality tend to drop.

I have had it for about 4 years - dropped it, knocked it, carried it around, etc... still works great and have never had a problem with it.

Definetly not for serious gigging or band practice but this amp is a great practice amp and gets quite loud for such an amp. It is quite versatile, but I get the feeling that it leans more towards rock/metal (forget the inbuilt gain feature though). If you want a room practice amp, this is a great option! Beats more then most of amps alike and definetly has power. If you want more, then Hughes und Kettner can also provide quality with their bigger amps.
