I bought this amp new in 2004. All the jacks and loops I need as I play mostly accoustic guitar. I have used it with a hollow body electric and got a good warm sound for the jazz I was playing at the time. It performed well for me in an auditorium setting and at home as well in recording situations. Plenty of power for what I need.

Sound Quality : 9
Suits me just fine for everything from neo-classical to rockabilly to accoustic blues. We ran two guitars through it once at a restaurant gig. My friend ran his Washburn through the clean side and I told him it was the best tone I ever heard out of that guitar when amped. Definitely not an electric guitar amp in my opinion.

Reliability : 8
I had a tweeter go out on me after about a year even with no travel or banging around.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never dealt with Ibanez, but my local dealer was most helpful.

I like the amp a lot and I would buy another one. It performs well with effects boxes and gives good sound. But its too heavy and no fun to travel with. I have a small Crate amp for jams at other people's houses and just take this one out for the big shows.

I'd been looking at acoustic amps for a few months and had decided to get a new Carvin but was having a hard time justifying the $500 it was gonna cost me. Then I stumbled on to this amp at a nearby swap meet. I needed one that I could play piano through also and most of the 2X10s had left me a little cold. There was a piano there to try through it along with several guitars and my first impression was that this was a great sounding amp. It has two channels. One with a mic input and 1/4 inch with 2 position EQ and the other with just a 1/4 in with 2 position EQ and a sweepable mid range control. The chorus works with only the guitar channel but the reverb works with both. This subtle feature is really a pretty cool idea so you can have chorus with the guitar but not the vocals. The chorus is a little weaker than some and seems to boost the midrange a little but I'm not all that big on chorus anyway. The reverb is very nice. Just a little wet but not sounding like the bottom of a well. It also has an effects loop, line out and foot switch jack. If anything, I'd rather see something like a 5 position slider EQ than what it has but this works fine with most of my stuff.

I play keyboard in a classic rock band and bought this amp just for our sit-around bluegrass, country and basic acoustic sessions. I sometimes have a piano along so I needed something that would handle it. I've got an Epiphone Chet Atkins SST that I always thought sounded a little harsh unless it was thru the PA but it really sounds lush through this thing. That fact alone was worth the price of the amp because I love the feel and sound of that guitar. I like the way my other acoustics sound through it also. The amp is VERY clean, all the way to the top

I really can't say. I've only had it a few months. I bought it second hand but it looked like it had never been used. It came from a church so it appears that I get to be the first one to spill beer on it.

I've never dealt with Ibanez. The local store says Ibanez is a decent company to deal with. The thing didn't come with a manual and so far I haven't had any luck through their website in finding a copy of one.

I've been playing off and on for about 35 years and pretty steadily for the last 10. Mostly I'm a keyboard player but in reality all keyboard players would rather be guitar players.
The pictures on the Ibanez website don't do this amp justice in the looks department. It is really a great looking amp. Heavy brown vinyl covering, not thin tolex. It might snag if you're not careful but I intend to take care of it. Nice gold hardware with leather carrying strap. The looks of it really got my attention. Very nice design. Kinda understated instead of flashy. One slight downfall is that the thing is kinda heavy.
If it were lost or stolen I'd probably try to get another one just like it although the listed selling price of $400 is gettin close to the Carvin that I intended to buy. Not likely to find such a nice used one again. I must have tried out 6-8 other brands. For the money I could justify, this one fits me perfectly. But again, if I hadn't stumbled on to this used one, I probably would have bought a different brand and never would have known about this nice model.
