Bought it used from a friend. He really takes care of his stuff so I wasn't worried. I play all kinds of music but prefer Old School Rock to Metal (eg. Rainbow, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Slayer)
Features: 15W, Active 3-band EQ, 15 combinations of digital effects, CD input, Headphone out, 8" speakers designed for enhanced low-end response, closed back cabinet, external speaker out.
I wish that it had volume control for the effects cos the mix can be a bit loud at certain settings. I use this mainly as a practice amp for home use. 15W is more than sufficient for me.

I use a Ibanez S series with a flame maple top H-S-S configuration (stock pickups with coil-tap for the humbuckers). Ok.. here goes... This amp has the most brutal distortion in its class! The array of sounds you can get comes from the awesome 3 band active EQ. EQ has a range of -12 to +12. You can basically shape your sound easily, from a Marshall-like sound to Rectifier-esque. The gain knob has good range too but I never had to go more than 3/4 of the way. The clean sound however is just above average; very good but not great. The EQ again comes to its rescue. You will get better clean sound from the Roland cube series. Effects are better than the Cube 30. All are usable except that you can't control the volume. My only qualm is the amp can get noisy with heavy distortion when you are not playing. However it does not really bother me.

Looks and feel durable. Never broken down. But I never ever really trust DSP as they can just crap out on you anytime.

Won't bother.

Been playing for 17 years. This amp suits my need and I am very happy with it. If lost I'll be sad cos it is out of production. I'll then get a Roland Microcube or something. I just like to say that this amp would appeal to all rockers out there as it has awesome tone and range for its distortion channnel. If you happen to find one used, try it out! If you mainly like clean sounds or play light distortion, don't bother with this amp.

Current production model TB15D. Has 2 channels, clean and distorted and 16 digital effects. 15 loud watts and very compact. I play alot of everything from Hendrix, Motley Crue, Dokken, Van Halen, Slayer, Metallica, SOAD, Static X, Korn and even some Beatles. I wanted a small amp that sounded good as is without extra effects pedals. I have a big 120 watt combo that is a bastard to transport. This amp does the job and then some.

Sound Quality : 10
I have to say it. The distortion on this amp is THE best I have ever heard come out of a combo this size! I am still shocked! The effects actualy sound the way they should. Almost like you have each individual pedal layed out in front of you! I love the tone and the volume is outragious! It's loud enough to hold it's own. The distortion is brutal. I am a big fan of the BOSS Metal Zone pedal and have relied solely on it for my distortion for years, but the onboard distortion on this little amp is the shit! I'm surprized that these amps havn't taken off more than they have. I especialy liked the Octave 1 and Octave 2 settings. I spent more time on those 2 effectas than any of the others. The chorus and flanger sound killer and the delays are right on.

Reliability : No Opinion
No comment realy, but I have had a few Ibanez guitars and they seem like they will last forever.

If this 15 watt combo sounds this good than the bigger models should be just as good. Looks like I may get the Ibanez TB100R half stack. I'm not real big on tube amps at all. I've been playing close to 23 years now and I've been in bands, toured, recorded, the works. My best amps were all solidstate. The few times I had tube amps I wasn't playing out and they only sounded good at high volume and needed alot of tweaking. I don't like to fight my gear so solidstate is the only way to go for me. Ibnaez makes some good stuff and now if everything in your rig said "Ibanez" on it you would be safe to say you could handle any musical style and venue. There may come a day when all my gear is Ibanez gear. Go buy one!

This amp features the basic clean channel and overdrive channel. It also has an cd input as well as a headphone jack. The big feature of this amp is that is had 15 built in effects such as flanger and delays. They are really cool to just mess around with. And even though it just a small practice amp it can still crank out some decent tones.

I play through this mostly with an ESP/LTD KH-502 with dual EMG-HZ pickups. This amp suits my need for playing metal at low volumes when Im amay for the rehersal room. The distortion sounds decent when the volume is fairly high but I wasnt too impressed with the clean channel. Like I said earlier the built in effects are cool to mess around with but you cant tweak them like you could on a effects pedal.

Reliability : 10
So far this has been a very reliable amp. It serves its purpose and that is all I can ask for with a practice amp. Its not an amp you can go out and gig with but could withstand a traveling routine if you would like to bring it you to jam on.

Customer Support : 10
No need to deal with

Overall Rating : 8
For what its worth this is a great little amp for a begining player and a worthy practice amp for a seasoned veteran. If it were stolen I would probably go buy another type of amp because Im not in love with it but right now it serves my every needs.
