Industrial Amps Overdrive 15

I have a 2005 Model which has the (much better looking) black grill cloth instead of the metal screen, and a Celestion Vintage 30 instead of the Jensen. No fancy-schamcy anything, just 15 watts of pure tone. Perfect for Recording, Home use, or small venue.

I have a Les Paul, a Strat, a Tele, and an Ibanez Hollowbody, and each one brings a different quality out of this amp. I've had a lot of amps... Vox, Fender, Peavey, and I just can't say enough about how much better this amp sounds. It's really incredible.

These things are built like a tank! Look at the specs on the web-site. Military grade everything. They built this to withstand a nuclear blast.

I doubt I'll ever need it.

I've been playing for 40 years. I started out with acoustics and electrics, then went all acoustic for about 20 years. Now I'm all electric. I just can't think of anything but high praise for this amp.

I purchased this amp new at the NJ Amp Show. The amp is very straight forward but is very versatile at the same time. I am pretty much a hard rock player, but this amp will get some beautiful cleans aside from monster crunch! As mentioned, very straight forward 1 channel amp, class AB, Point-to-Point wired, tube amp. Controls include one Input, Gain, Bass, Mid, Treble, Presence, Master, Standby switch, Bright Yellow "on" jeweled pilot-light, effects loop, 2 speaker outs, voltage selector switch, ohm selector switch, 3 12AX7 preamp tubes, 2 6v6 power tubes. This is what this amp is all about. I will say straight out this amp blew me away! I was in a situation where I was able to play incredible amps all day long, and this one just stood out as something very special IMHO. The first thing that really appealed to me about the Overdrive 15, aside from the build quality, was how uncompressed & clear the sound was, the amp just refuses to get muddy! I was able to get a surprisingly large amount of clean headroom with this amp. My preference as a hard rock player is going to be the "Crunch" and this amp just has it going on! The input jack says it all with the word "Heavy" right under it. This is hands down the biggest, baddest, 15 watter I have ever played. The amp has a wonderful open, uncompressed, clear sound, no matter how much gain you dial in!

The amp is new, but Industrial Amps stands behind their products with a very solid warranty. The build quality is ridiculously good. I met the Sean & Anthony the owners of the company at the NJ Amp Show. They were great guys, and let me check out the amps as long as I liked and answered all my endless questions about the amp. Sean knocked $300.00 of the retail price as a I purchased at the Amp Show. Before I purchased Sean set up an A/B box so I could compare two different Overdrive 15's and pick the one I liked best. According to them they will stand 100% behind this amp. Certain items have limited manufacturer warranty's, but 10 years on the transformers seemed pretty fair to me. Time will tell in the category.

I have been playing for over 20 years. I currently own a modified Marshall 50 watt Plexi and a VHT Deliverance 60 with VHT D412 cab. I have owned and played many amps such as Soldanos, Two-Rock, Engl, Reinhardt, Cameron, Komet, Fuchs, Diezel, the list goes on and on. I not only would by another Industrial Amp is this were lost or stolen, but plan on keeping this one and buying an Industrial Amp head as well! Truth be told I can't say enough good things about this amp, I get totally inspired when I play it and that is what plugging into an amp is all about for me. I would highly recommend checking these amps out if you get the chance!
