Not many features it's a guitar cab. If features a Jack that leads to a speaker.

Just bought this new from the website. Wow this thing sounds good. I have owned many cabs in my day, and this cab rivals my tone tubby 1X12 at a fraction of the cost. I have it loaded w/ a celestion vintage 30, and the sound is to die for. If you haven't heard one of these do yourself a favor and buy one. You will be so happy you did, these cabs are top notch sound, and top notch construction. I don't usually give 10's, but this cab has earned it.

Like I mentioned earlier, I haven't had the cab long, probably about 2 months now, but I have never had a problem, and the build quality is right up there w/ the higher priced cabinets.

Jeff Earl is the type of guy who enjoys his work and it shows, I have dealt w/ him on several occasions. Not only is he very fair, and efficient. He will also take the time to work w/ you and get you a speaker enclosure that is EXACTLY the way you want it. His email responses were always very timely, and he is a pleasure to deal with. Very fast shipping etc. too.

There is nothing bad about buying a cab from Jeff. I have done it before, and will do it again.

This is a 1x12 cabinet modeled after the salt and pepper Bluesbreaker look.
The speaker (Jeff Earl gives infinite options) is a Weber Silver Bell, 15W/8ohms with no doping to give it the aged sound.
I use this cabinet with a THD Univalve. I was looking to really drive a speaker and was turned on to matching my Univalve with this cabinet after testing one of the new Marshall handwired series cabinets with a Univalve.
Although this is just a cabinet, I give it a 10 for features because the possibilities to customize with Jeff Earl are unlimited, i.e. covering, grillcloth, handles, etc.

I use a 1971 Les Paul deluxe with mini humbuckers. I try to play everything from originals, rockabilly, Chet Atkins, 80's alternative (Pixies / Tupelo / Frank Black), and always gravitate back to Page.
The cabinet will give you resonant feedback that sings when the amp is really cranked.
It has a really tight low end, and I notice that notes are much more chimey than before.
Distortion will vary depending on the tube selections in the Univalve.

Probably not going to give me much problem.
I was worried about using a 15Watt amp with a 15Watt speaker. Jeff Earl quickly put that worry to rest.

Great experience dealing with Jeff Earl.
Jeff Earl takes pride in guiding you through the process. I spent about 2 weeks on and off trying to decide on the final product.
It took about 3 weeks from order to front stoop.
I should have called him, but email worked great. Paypal was the method of payment.
Jeff Earl has a ton of options for cabinets. This cabinet was probably on the low end of the expense scale, but it was worth every penny.
I believe the standard warranty is 1 year.

The reason for buying this was to get a less expensive 1x12 without sacrificing quality or vibe. Think twice before spending more money on something else.
I would definitely get another cabinet from J Design.
Check their website-the workmanship and options are 2nd to none.
