Early 90's cabinet I believe. Jackson didn't make amps and cabinets very long. I've only seen 2 of these puppies and they're both in my care now. =)
8 ohm, 100 watt, solid as a rock! I give it an 8. Two points off for 2 missing features. 1) Has no impedence variation. You're stuck with 8 ohm. 2) It's compact and portible but could still do well with a set of casters. It weighs as much as a few Crate, Randall, and Ampeg 4X12's that I've lifted.

Full distinct representation of any given input signal. I use these things for doing covers gigs primarily. These cabs deliver everything from acoustic tones to shredder metal tones.

Never had a problem with these cabinets in 2 years of daily use.
Customer Support
:
No Opinion
Never had an issue with them. I don't think that Jackson would service them after being discontinued for so long, and I wouldn't expect them to. About the only service I will need for it, is an available J412 to get speaker replacements for these 2.

I've been playing for 17 years. In that time, I've been through a lot of high end gear. My set up now is pretty simple. I run a GSP2101 w/ upgrade into a 70's Acoustic G60-112( 150watt combo amp. It's another review on it's own!), and into a J212. I run a variety of guitars including Carvins, Gibsons, and Ibanez, loaded with different pickup configurations. I picked up the second cabinet primarily as a backup, but I do use them both on ocassion. I'm not waiting around for them to be stolen. I'll keep my eyes open for any more. I'll be picking up at least 2 more of them, or a J412, whichever comes first.
