made in 2000 has two channels clean and distorted sounds besides great on clean but cant exactly say the same for the distortion.plenty of power, 125 watts of grunt, great for a heavy, grunge,punk, garage band plenty of power

Sound Quality : 7
again i will say it sounds great through the clean channel, i use it with an effects pedal or i just crank my guitar vol right up, but it makes a really bassy bad distortion sound,ide say that the only neg point. really loud easy enough for gigs and rockin the neighbour hood

Reliability : 10
great hasnt broken yet and ive had mine for a few yearsvery reliable, i use it all the time

Customer Support : 10

This amp is less than a year old. I bought it secondhand for less than half price, so I'm happy. The clean channel on this amp is just incredible. I would seriously compare it to a Fender Twin Reverb for it's clean channel. The Scream (distortion) channel is very bassy though you can tweak the equalization and the shape knobs and fix this a little. Better to use a pedal for distortion/overdrive/fuzz/crunch. I play blues and blues-based rock and as long as I run my Ibanez TS-5 or my Zoom 707 for crunch, etc., I'm o.k.. The Jade (brand-Aussie) Storm (series) 125r has the following features: * a 0db input (normal)
* a -6db input ("padded" for active pickups)
* "Scream" channel features
* Gain knob (distortion)
* Shape knob (scoops out your mids)
* Volume knob (makes "Scream" channel go loud)
* "Scream" channel on/off pushbutton switch
* "Thick Boost" on/off pushbutton switch
* Clean Gain knob
* Master Equalization
* Bass knob
* Mid knob
* Treble knob
* Master Reverb
* Master Volume
* "Thick Boost" footswitch input
* Channel footswitch input
* Effects Loop send input
* Effects Loop return input
* Headphone input
* Line Out input

I use this amp at home (I don't gig currently) and it rattles the windows on the house across the street. Please note that this is a solid state amp.

I play a Squire Standard Strat and a Samick SAN-450 335-dot copy semi-acoustic. This amp responds better I think to single coil pickups but don't take that to mean that humbuckers sound bad through it. They all sound good through it. I don't particularly like the "Scream" channel much but the clean channel more than makes up for that. It really does have a tube/valve-like warmth to it. There is a little bit of distortion on the clean gain when you go above 7 but if you stop there on that knob and continue to turn your master volume, it gets plenty loud and stays fairly clean. the reverb is excellent on the clean channel but because the "Scream" channel is so bassy all it does is make your muddy noises muddier. If you zero the reverb, the bass and the mid, then put your treble at 7 or higher, then switch to "Scream" channel with your shape knob on 10 and your gain wherever you want it, you can get some good fuzz sounds, but it will still be bassy.

Reliability : 10
I haven't had any trouble with it, but then I've only owned it for a couple of months.

I bought it second hand from a pawn shop: no manual or anything. I went to my local music shop and asked them to request any info on this amp that they could get. Two days later they had a little pamphlet explaining the knobs, inputs and switches. what more do you need for an amp? The point is that the company responded quickly to my request even though they knew that I had bought it second hand. I like that.

Overall Rating : 8
It's a damn good amp. I would certainly replace it with one of the same if it were stolen or lost or exploded or whatever. I just wish that the "Scream" channel wasn't so bassy. But thats why we've got stomp boxes, right?
