In terms of features, this amp was very average. It had the usual gain and drive switches, plus equalization. I use a Boss GT3 effects pedal so the limitations of effects on the amp itself didn't really bother me too much.

It does get a bit noisy when the volume passes 4 on 5 gain (but not enough to become a nuisance). The distortion isn't too bad, in fact I could get quite a trendy blues sound out of it. The clean channel would have been much improved by a reverb dial.

Never had any problems with it.

Never dealt with Jade. But some friends of mine have and cant get over how little customer support or even backup service you get with any jade product.

I've been playing with this amp for over 4 years now. I probably wouldn't replace it with the same amp if it were lost or got stolen. I play on an ibanez RS430 roadstar 2, and am satisfied with the range of sounds I can get, however I can forsee people having problems with this aspect for sure (depending on your playing style). I play mainly 70's and 80's rock (dire straits, steely dan etc), and it serves me fine, but I would much rather a fender tweed or a blues deville for my style of playing.
