This amp was made in 2000,it suits my type of style which is mainly rock and metal but I have to say the scream channel is crap, its far too bassy and I dont use it at all.I use this amp in rehearsal and on stage because the power is incredible and the 1 12" speaker and the 1 10" speaker really pound out the sound. It has many options including footswitch/fx loop.

I own a BC Rich Warlock guitar and I use a samick VG15 amp as a pre amp running through the jade.I also use a DOD american metal pedal for great distortion as the sound is incredible through the jade.I use the pedal for clean channel as well and the sound is very clean and just the right amount of tone.Without the pre amp and the pedal I wouldnt use the amp at all except for clean music beacuse as i said before the distortion channel is disgraceful its far too bassy, but I would recommend it if you have a pre amp and fx pedals cause its a beast.

This amp is very solid if not a bit too heavy, I put wheels on mine and it is holding together well, I have never had any trouble with it and i think it could stand a nuclear blast.SWEEET

I have been playing for 5 years and i also own a samick strat copy and an epiphone les paul and they all sound great. If this amp was stolen I would probably not buy another one simply because I want a marshall stack, so i would save my money and buy one of them.I love the great volume and grunt of this amp but I hate the cheesy bassy scream channel which should have never been included on this amp because it makes the amp look bad which it isnt.I would definately recommend it for anyone looking for an amp with great sound, it defiantely worthy of stage play and is not too big.

This amp has 2 inputs, A Clean and A 'Scream' Channel, Boost Switch, FX Loop, HeadPhones Jack, Line Out Jack. The Scream Channel is pretty bad, it sounds really bassy and i dont really like it. The 125W is very powerfull. The clean channel when turned up can sound a bit overdriven but i like that sorta sound, just depends on how you have the clean gain set.

I Use a Samick 'Left Handed' Les Paul. I play punk, grunge, alternative stuff and i also use a Samick SemiAcoustic on the same amp which sounds pretty good aswell. I use a GFX707 FX Processor in the FX Loop, which sounds pretty good. The distortion is too bassy, as most people have said. So im thinking of using the distortion on the GFX707 but then i dont get the versatility that i want.

This amp has never broken down on me. I got it cheep as Jade sold it to a guitar store cause it had a little scratch on the side so they sold it really cheap to him. So i basically got a New amp for Second Hand Price. Since its not a tube amp it doesnt need regular servicing.

Ive never had to deal with the company, Since i got it form another dealer and they sold it as second hand to him, there was no waranty from the company, but normally i think its 3 years??? Dont quote me on that. They have a web site but its been underconstruction for ages.

Solid State Combo (1 x 12" & 1 x 10") built Dec 2000. Fairly versatile amp. Works to my expectations in most cases. Being a valve fanatic I was surprised at how mellow and rich toned this amp can be if set-up properly. Is used for everything from Steve Miller, Dire Staits right down to Elvis and Buddy Holly. Currently more used for country and country rock circuit. Has the basic features of a good stage amp. Plenty of power when needed but tends to get a bit dirty if the volume is adjusted by useing the gain instead of the master. Reverb works well and has no problems interacting with the inbuilt effect loop. Having a line level output socket is a brilliant idea as you can have the amp in front of you at an angle (I built my own stand for this) using it as a foldback and have the stage side output adjusted from the mixing desk. The dirty channel is truly a waist of time though. Too rough, too bassy and not enough control. The best idea is use a separate pedal. Overall a pretty good amp, taking into consideration that I am a valve fanatic from way back.

I have used a number of guitars of which some are 62' Jaguar, '68 Stratocaster, SG-61 Gibson, J&D Telecaster replica, Squire Stratocaster with Lace Pick-ups, Coltone Semi-accoustic with old rewound Texas Gold pick-ups. All sound good and have no problems with any noise other than what is expected from some single coils. Both single coil and humbucker including active versions sound great. The only thing that is a bit anoying is the turn-off crackle when the amp is shut down. A slow turn-on/speaker protector kit from Dick Smith solved this problem for under $20.00 Aus.

No problems at all with breakdowns. Speakers pound without any sign of bottoming out. Amp circuitry doesn't get as hot as what I would have expected, even at high power levels. Both the dealer and online enquiry department are ready to help at all times. Regardless of what amp it was I would never gig without a back-up of some type. Anything could happen at any time you just can't tell.

Comes with a three year warranty. Very comprehensive at that. The speakers though are only coverd for twelve months which I have found to be typical of most amps.

Have been playing big gig's for about ten years. This amp is very portable and user friendly. Friends who haven't been playing as long can still use it without having to consult the operating guide. All in all this amp was chosen on the basis that it filled my needs. I wanted a reasonable priced amplifier that had good sound, good portability, basis controls and enough versatility to cope with the many types of music that I play. It filled the bill perfectly. Good amp and good to see that some good quality gear is coming out of Australia and not just the States and Europe. Would recommend this amp for anyone who is chasing a good stage amp without spending huge amounts of money on the name badge.

I use an Ibanez GRX70 with 2 humbuckers bridge and neck and a single coil, mostly always in the bridge position.
It suits my hard rock, metal, alternative style well.
On the settings i have it on, bass almost all the way up, mid almost off and treble almost all the way up it has a lot of high end noise with my distortion pedal.
I am happy with the clean sound i have it adjusted to the sound mentioned for the sake of the distortion.
I havent really tested it all the way but it sounds good at high volume.
Amp distortion, wwaaaaaaaaaaay to bassy and muffled to my ear. I use a boss turbo distortion and i love it.

I have been playing this amp heaps in a short period of time.
I bought this amp for its outstanding value and volume. i would buy something similar or something used.
I love the volume and the weight, and i have found settings i really like.
I wish it had a million different amp sounds but that would cost me another $5000
If an amp like this wasnt available i would have had to take my chances on a second hand amp. I believe this is really good value for money.
