pretty basic amp.
the dials dont seem to do much at all. the OD dial doesnt work (on mine at least) until about 9 or 10.
no effects.

sounds terrible. very muddy, always noisy, shit OD. seems to only do like midrange sounds, and no amount of tweaking gets rid of that sound. just no clarity, no OD and just shit all round.

ive been playing for just over a year now and i just have to say that since i bought my marshall (http://www.harmony-central.com/Guitar/Data/Marshall/MG15DFX_Combo-01.html) i feel so ripped off! sure it was nice of my mate to sell it to me to get going, but surely $50 would have been more reasonable for such a substandard amp.

For a cheapo Chinese import it has the usual stuff. volume, tone, etc. The only problem is that they don't control anything. No matter what you do with the controls, you get a terrrible, noisy low volume sound.

It has one sound: pure shit! The volume control lets it go from whisper level to loud conversation level. I think it really has more like 5 watts of power even though it claims 30. Speaker sounds like it busted its balls before it left the factory.

If I'm lucky this will break down soon. It smells like somethings about to burn up everytime I turn it on. so before long, its gonna melt down.

Not the best in the market, but it's ok for the price. It has a 3 band EQ and not much more really. I use it to practice. It's one of my guitar amps and it's very good just to have some fun. It's best isn't in this category.

I use this amp for hard rock and it sound pretty good. It can really play loud, witch is a bonus. It sounds better at higher volumes. The distortion it's ok if your don't expect too much from a guitar amp that's so cheap (no money to buy a better one, hehehe). I really like the way it sounds. No noise detected until now.

Cheap 30W solid state amp. Has line out, headphone out,
3 band EQ, pretty basic.

I play this with a humbucking vantage guitar from the 70's. I play
mostly metal, punk and blues. Sounds ok for dirty blues, distortion
isn't very nice though, rather artificial, although sounds better
at higher volumes. It does give very heavy distortion though, which is
a plus, although this is partly due to my guitar, as it has excellent
sustain and the bridge humbucker is close to the strings. Clean is
acceptable, distortion too buzzy and artificial though, as with many
SS practice amps. Gives an ok metal/punk tone, but I would recommend
buying a pedal for distortion instead. Sounds about as good as the
cheap fender amps etc. So for the price not too bad.

Seems quite reliable. I opened it up once, and there wasn't glue
everywhere or anything, so build quality is ok. There isn't much
to break really.

Years warranty. Not really worth repairing at the price.

I've been playing for a little over a year. I also own a classical
acoustic. My guitar probabally deserves a better amp, but it gives
usable tones. If it was stolen, I would buy a more expensive amp.
It's a good begginer's amp. I'm past that stage really, but it is fine
for someone starting out. At least it has decent volume, it is loud.
